Sorry, but you capitalised the letter and suddenly my brain came up with a mental image of an avalanche of Plushy. Oh my!
Lol I have a cat ava club thread. Join me in the Le cafe!
(Lots of interviewees do the same thing at the end of a taping, but the sound is supposed to be left on the cutting room floor, so to speak.) Before SA, Jason (via his mum Marla) had made a deal with the Ronald McDonald House charity in Chicago. If you're not familiar with the charity, it basically provides housing for families who have a child/children in hospital, so that the families can stay close during this difficult time. Jason announced that all the plushies he received would go to this charity, so many people brought them - even those who would not normally do the plushie thing. And I imagine some who were reserving gifts for another skater would bring an extra one along for Jason's charity.
) project at future competitions, for the benefit of additional Ronald McDonald Houses both domestically and internationally.OK-- I give up. What are noodle-arms?? People with a bad aim??
How wonderful is that!
but it is also going to have an interesting competition dynamic. However Jason skates, there will be a rain of plushies for RMH. And any skater who skates after him will have to wade through all those stuffed animals, like an obstacle course. And deal with the applause, too, of course!I was actually thinking more about Nationals, but I think that would depend on who was skating after Jason. I think someone like Josh, or Max, would probably take it in good spirit. (Maybe seeing a hail of plushies or a hail of Plushys would make Max RELAX!)

It does depend on the skater. There are certainly some skaters that would play with it and have fun. How fun would it be to see Max bust out a hockey puck and start batting them off the ice! Now that would be how you deal with it well!

I can't wait to see how this plays out at TEB!

The mental image of Max with a hockey stick shooting teddies through the gate will be with me for the rest of the day and make me smile for a week! Thanks!
stuffed animals with a hockey stick is kind of sickening
to me.
) of the animals being donated to Jason's cause.
Stitch, I know you meant no harm, but your Max scenario makes me cringe rather than laugh. I don't think that gentle Max would hurt a flea in real life, but the thought of him energetically swatting away at innocentstuffed animals with a hockey stick is kind of sickening
to me.
Wouldn't send a good message at all, IMO. Could be a bit traumatizing to the ladies of all ages who who idolize both Max and Jason.
