He might be flying straight to Chicago with his parents (the photo in the tweet he sent from the plane today showed the 3 of them). Then maybe it won't be so bad--a little TLC, home cooking and a ride to the show!
 
Yeah I'm assuming he will go straight to a Highland Park and as he's the energizer bunny he probably will be there. It's just such a long trip and such major jet lag....

I'll let you guys know!

And I have to confess. I have re-watched. . . . several times. . .many actually. It has grown on me a fair amount. I still think the outfit is a miss, but the program/concept I know like. I think some normal black practice pants and a normal hoodie would be great and improve the overall effect greatly. Hell, get a flag hoodie if he really wants. The thing is, he really does seem to enjoy this program and playing with it, so I want to see it again with a better outfit.
 
I'm loving gym bag, I just didn't know we could use it all the time;) And I do think the gym bag was just for patriotic WTT purposes, and it would be more in keeping with Team KoRo to have a glitterati hip hop outfit.

I have not been able to bring myself to re watch, but once I get home, I will give it a fair shot. No more complaining like with Cotton Eyed Joe: be careful what you wish for:drama:

I wonder how much he has drawn some fans in purely because they find it interesting/flattering that he speaks their language so well? And of course they then get even more hooked on his skating :love:

I know Finnish people would be all over some foreign celebrity who spoke our language, even if it was just a few words. Like when Meagan & Eric won Worls, some news outlets here were very keen to point out that she has Finnish roots and speaks Finnish. Literally some headers were "Finnish-speaking Canadian Wins World Championship". It was almost like "she's almost one of us, woohoo". It was sweet and embarrassing. :biggrin:

Oh I remember that! He said Jason and Kori were cool people and also said really nice stuff about his skating.

Then Johnny figured out that Jason is better than he was.
 
Well if all what you say is the case, then Jason will probably do what Johnny noted he does (stay cool) and not bother with it. It's really not his problem.

Austrian pairs skater Miriam Ziegler gives Jason a shoutout in her interview with the Skate Guard blog. (I can't link it here unfortunately but you should find the interview in a Google search).

Another great skater is Jason Brown, who I think has the most interesting programs and transitions. I admire his attitude on as well as off the ice.
