I am so happy for both of them, but especially for Jason, who must feel like a huge weight has been lifted from his shoulders. Yes, he has to get it consistent, etc., but still... And they both looked so clean and easy! And bravo to Vincent Restencourt, who has obviously been doing great work with them as well as with Courtney Hicks (on her triple axel) and who knows who else.
I also must confess, fellow Jason fans, that one of my next thoughts along my (very slow) thought process was...
...there are certain people who are going to hate this.![]()
...I am surprised they have not come out of the woodwork yet. Fingers so crossed he can do it next week.

*consults diary* Hmm, watching the SP live will be a problem for me unless he skates in the very first group. The FS is mercifully at stupid o'clock on a Sunday, at least, so I can snooze after.
I so hope he lands it next week...fourth in the World without a quad, where to next?![]()
Jason has impeccable timing. A week before his senior B! Didn't he get his 3A like four days before the JGPF? This is a thing.
I know! and with better programs too. and with Worlds in the USA. This could be a really fun season.
... But will he be the first pony tail to land a quad? Has anyone with a pony tail landed one yet?
Ellaj Balde did today at Nebelhorn, didn't he?
