Jason Brown

looks like jasons back in good healthyahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now lets get back on that ice Jason. ready 123 jump.

Or it could be photoshop, like Jason as Charles Barkley.

If you mean his jump, hopefully not, Doris!

Am I the only one who thought the Shaq / Charles Barkley thing was a little weird (I like both those guys by the way) - ie a bit insulting to Jason? The fact that he responded twice several hours apart made me think it got to him a little.

It's almost like implying Jason's not an athlete - although since vertical jump is so prized in the NBA they might have a little more respect if they saw his photo above.

Maybe I'm just being humorless I don't know!

I think we need to know what the bet was and what the context was before we see it as an insult or anything like that.

If bet is "loser has to take a figure skating class and post a clip" that is fine to me and no difference than take a dance lesson, or a rock climbing lesson, or a calculus lesson... basically do something outside your comfort zone. Something being outside of your comfort zone should not be an insult or imply anything about the people who do that activity.

I took Jason's reaction as "Hey of all the skater photos to pic they used mine!" in a similar vein to when someone randomly found his pic in a math text book.

Again we don't know the context, but I think Jason, and all of team Korocent would likely love to have an NBA player come skate with them for the day. If take a skating lesson was part of the bet... yes i could see Jason and his team seeing this as a good opportunity to say "if you are seriously going to go skating, come do it with a reigning Olympic medalist"

haha I would love too see Charles barkley learn too skate. somehow I think it would not be hard at all for Jason too shoot a hoop or two or even three.but but Charles or shaq not so easy learning too skate .I think it would be pretty funny. thati would love too see.

I think the fact that the players were c/o the exreme cold was more of a factor than ice skating not being a sport. It was freezing and these guys just kept dwelling on it, yet you could still see people skating outside. It was more of a dare to go outside, I thought, lol. And that the loser would probably make a fool of himself on the ice.... with those long bambi limbs???

alright does any one have any new info on our golden boy here a video clip anything .I know hes doing ice chips in mid april this is driving me crazy. hes my favorite skater. imiss you Jason.

I am looking forward to seeing Jason (and the other U.S. men on Team Infirmary :( ) return to the ice, but I think unless it is for a skating show, we won't see many of them for awhile.

But as much as it bums me out that I haven't seen them skate for awhile, I am hopeful that the increased time away means that they are just making sure that when we see them again, they will be 100% recovered.

Itwould make me happy just to hear some report that he's back on ice....people seemed to know so much before he wd from nats, now zip :(

I know right. at least some news from his coach or something from 7k. I think Jason himself needs too keep us posted with regular updates too a message a video clip something. and updates on Jordon progress too.

So Jason is back at the rink :yay:.

But if today is his first day back at the rink (as his tweet seems to imply?), then Kori was overly optimistic when she said he would be back the week following Nats.

ETA (on Mar 2):

Jason in fact returned to the ice on Feb 1, per an article published today and posted by katmari.

Kori was right on target when she said that he would be back a week after Nats.

YAY! Jason says he is happy to be back at the rink! This is good news on his progress!

Here's to hoping that this progress spreads to Joshua, Ricky, Nathan, and Jordan!
