Liking the 70s throwback EX....
So it basically comes down to the men - and it really basically comes down to what condition Jason Brown is in. Brown hasn't competed since the fall, and if he delivers a strong free skate, it's Team North America's Team Challenge Cup to win. So much Team!

Jackie Wong has done his predictions for TCC and they can be found here!
Aww Jackie y u need to make me even more nervous![]()
That's a bit weird, really: he states team Asia has the strongest men but then says everything comes down to Jason? Did I read too fast and miss something? Why Jason and not Nam, Adam, or Dennis? I mean any one of those guys is capable of skating very well or tanking.
I kind of don't like that he's putting that pressure on Jason already. From what what we saw, he looks really good, and we know he'll be thrilled to compete again, but it seems a bit unfair to expect a Nats level or WTT level performance right off the bat. We shall see, though!!![]()
Okay @TMC and @StitchMonkey, maybe I wrongly misinterpreted it as pressure!
I got the impression Jason isn't ready to compete the quad yet, but since I've been proving myself wrong left and right recently, perhaps I'm wrong about that, too. I am guessing that if he skates two clean quadless programs beautifully, his scores will be around what Adam just scored at Worlds and what he himself scored at WTT last season - although he's no longer the national champion, so maybe not.
And of course if he has a wonky skate, all bets are off. But the thing is, I'm really not sure how predictable the other guys are. Some of those who we assume will do well may just be tired out now.
The good thing: we'll find out in two days!
I got the same impression..I'll be very surprised if he tries a quad in either programme. But two clean programmes would certainly be enough for me

I think part of why Jackie Wong named Jason is probably because he considers him to be the deciding factor between Team North America, and Team Europe, since he says that he believes that Team Asia are out of it due to their weakness in pairs & ice dance ...

Wow that is SO close! 902.17 and 901.65![]()
)I know, it's almost spooky... Really, anything could happen...
(Note: But what are the odds that whatever does happen, and whatever team wins, there will be people claiming that it was the only possible outcome, and only fools could ever have believed anything different?)
