Ermmm...Does the fact that I have a sequined sweater almost identical to Jason's (which I wear with black pants and high-heeled ankle boots when I go out) mean I'm a living Saturday Night Fever relic????

ETA it looks like the crowd really enjoyed Jason - in the speaking Japanese clip, you can see that a lot of the audience gave him a standing O for his disco ex.

I can still see John Travolta walking with the can of paint swinging and hear the music playing in the background. I think I need to watch that movie again...I loved Jason and Shoma together. Seemed like the crowds were crazy about Jason (no big surprise there!)

Oh that would be great. And Shoma wasn't messing around - he did a great jump and a cantilever. And of course Jason oozed personality, as always! :clap:

Jason did a pretty great job - especially considering that the recipe kinda sucks.

It's too bad that Jason couldn't have done the Poached Egg Tostadas. They looked awesome (except the cilantro - I have always hated cilantro - it tastes like soap). The Turkey Meatballs looked great too - except that may not have been an option if Jason follows kosher dietary laws.

Jason eats bacon so he's far from keeping Kosher.
 
Why the lack of love for iceberg lettuce wraps:(

I could do without mounds of iceberg lettuce, but the rest of the recipe seems yummy enough. Then again, I am vegetarian, so it certainly looks better than the turkey/chicken strips/etc they seem to flog on these vids.

And Jason makes it all seem interesting:biggrin:

I wonder what "many quads by top men" means? Max and Nathan for sure, Jason in some capacity, and probably Vincent, Tim, and Grant. Maybe Adam too? This could shake things up!

Not going to happen with the footage...the only video we see out of champs camp is what the USFS allows, usually of the team bonding. They're certainly not going to leak video of a trump card like that. So I'm afraid that just like me, you're going to have to wait for Lombardia...

Can you imagine the head explosions indeed, if Jason should land them at Lombardia, but also at the same competition, a snuggly bat of a teammate lands the quad loop also rumoured to have been on display at champs camp? Oh my...we might need a fallout shelter for them.

... but he could share training footage not form champs camp... i mean if the cats out of the bag and all. That was how we got footage of the 4T... the cat got out of the bag. Then again showing up with it unseen at a comp... well that would be delicious.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if Max can claim the coveted first 4Loop price... but sadly that might make him a bit of a target for some Hanyu fans... still im rooting for him to land it this season.

Sadly i can imagine the head explosions... sadly I think many will be that it was "clearly UR and he just got credit for being Jason" no matter how rotated it will be. I also think we might start seeing snide comments about it not having enough height... *sigh* some people will find something to complain about. I suspect even if he lands them both people will still say "not enough not enough other guys are doing *cough trying cough* four quads."

Still I want to see it. I mean his 4T actually is rather beautiful, so I want to see his 4S. I am curious to look at it as much as I am to watch the fallout.
 
I've only just realised that they actually wrote "landed". I'm pretty sure that if it had been in any way irregular, ie. UR or stepped-out, they would have written "attempted" instead. This makes me feel a lot more optimistic about Lombardia!
 
I'm very optimistic - but I'm not saying anything for fear of jinxing Jason!

(Er... unless I just did? :unsure: Say something, I mean.)
