I belatedly found this on Twitter and looks like no one hasn't posted it here so I had to do so although it happened two days ago
Explanation: Jason shows up for the practice. Starts skating, then hurries back to the rinkside. Reappears with a pair of shorts on over the tights. His confession to the fan club leader who took this pic:
He had forgotten to put his undie on, and only realized it when he started skating. Oh Jason...

MGStyle, thanks for the translation, great to have Japanese speakers here to explain. When I first saw this, Bing translate was its usual garbled self, but it did use the term "go commando" and I thought, "huh, that can't be right"?

This was hilarious! Kori and Rohene were really laughing. I'm just hoping it doesn't give Rohene any new ideas for future costumes for Jason! :luv17: Shoma kept looking at Jason with this funny look!

But I am sure he was unfazed, and I can just imagine the scene!!! I wonder if someone video taped the incident 
Anyway I can't wait for the FS, not too long to wait now!!!!

Thx, and does anyone know who are the Russian commentators? They were wonderfully silent almost through the whole program, unlike TAT's nonstop screeching.

I had to miss it cause I was participating in a stunt clinic, but when it was done, the first thing I did was check the results. And I was cheering when I saw.

WONDERFUL job, Jason!! I so want to see him to skate to his full potential this season. I'm really glad he got a medal this time and I'll be thrilled for him if he makes it to the final!

I was watching the Russian stream and apart from the heart attacks it gave me when it pretended like it was going to crash right as Jason started, I appreciated this so much. I was able to lose myself in the program without endless blabber.
Oh, you guys, I don't think he's ever skated so beautifully as he did this morning. And that quad toe! I am so dirty it was called <. It was gorgeous. Now the first one is done, I am sure it will not be a problem any more!

It was a beautiful performance! And even though the quad was underrotated (which you could kind of tell in real time, so I'm not surprised) it was definitely his best attempt yet IMO. Yayayay!
Speaking of the quad, apologies if there was a Very Loud Screaming Lady at that point.
