omg Jason these photos are so cute slam pack full of energy! mi cheering you on for next year2018!:hap10::yahoo::cheer2:

There's a lot of extra stuff from today on usfigureskating's IG Story, including of Jason. It was good to see a clip of Jason & Mariah being silly together again, though very brief. I've missed that.

How could I ever question whether Jason would make it to such a photo shoot.
This event was tailor-made for him.

Although I have to admit, the true Stars of the US Oly photo shoot so far are Pearl the kitten and Chunk the puppy:love::love::love:

There is a Facebook page set up for Jeremy and Lucy and many coaches will be donating fees from May 5th. I'm so glad Jason , Max and others are participating.

Many thanks to @Interspectator :clap:for the second round of translations, but ....

Quad, quad, health, quad, quad, health? Could Jason possibly really have said that?

Sounds like some thread titles:laugh2:

And seeing the recent photoshoot of Jason with the golden retriever. cuteness plus more cuteness!

Do you have a link for that please :)

Here is the link to Interspectator' s lovely translation of the second part of Jason's interview:

Thanks!

So, did anybody catch that Jason said after retiring (1) he'd like to teach English in a Japanese elementary school, and then; (2) get into media and TV, and specifically, he'd like to go to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo as a commentator for NBC?

Am I misunderstanding or does that suggest he will stop competing after 2018?

hi everyone, yes tavi I think that's what his plains are for the future. his parents are probably advising against it . my guess isfor health reasons mainly. also funds might have a lot to do with it too . it costs a lot too train and travel too compete. his parents will probably have too put a hault in a few years when and if his father retires. but maby he will still skate in shows around the world so we can still see him skate and entertain his fans.:clapper:

:eeking: I've been thinking what a good commentator Jason would be (if he could stand still!:)). But I wasn't thinking it would start happening so soon. Could he possibly mean he would just do that as an additional gig, besides his skating? Why am I feeling worried here? :scratch3:

In the past he mentioned possibly going to 2022 if healthy. But I think in the Ice Talk interview he said skating isn't his whole life, there's other stuff he wants to do, and also something about sitting down with Kori after Worlds (?) to discuss the future. So really hard to know whether he's come to a decision and this is his first public mention of it.

I will be really sad if next year is last year! But maybe it explains the two quad short program.
