Jason Brown

God, I'm not really good at remembering about skaters' bdays...:slink: - hence my THANK GOD to GS FFs!:thank:

All the best and wished for Jason - what brought me to his skating was colourfulness and vibrancy surrounding him and his performances, the uniqueness of how he puts his skating on the map of so many other skaters competing; I wish that the energy, dedication and passion he gives to his every performance - in or outside of competition - will be back to him multiplied. I wish that the goodness, kindness, compassion and sensitivity he gives not only to the audiences, but also to charities he supports, will get back to him ten times stronger. For me, he is maturing and growing to be not only an inspiring skater/performer, but inspiring person to follow and support - such positivity and attitude to admire, not only in sport, but mostly - for life in general.

:)

Just a little note since we were speculating about whether Jason would go to Frank before Nats (and one FSU poster said he had worked with Alex in Chicago): his birthday tweet showed his location as “from Colorado Springs.” So it seems most likely that he’s just going to finish his pre-Nats training and breaking in those new skates in CS.

Here’s hoping he has a brilliant start to his 23rd year!

Happy Birthday Jason!!
Thank you for being such an amazing and artistic skater and for giving us such emotional vehicles to love :)
I will always fondly remember your programs, especially Riverdance and Hamilton (I'm listening to Hamilton now!)
Enjoy your birthday :) You've earned it, and I hope that making the GPF and going to Japan was a great gift and that Nationals will be an even better one!

Happy Birthday Jason. I hope that the coming year brings you continued happiness, a solid quad, and much success. Can't wait to see you in San Jose!!!!

:hb:

Nationals is in San Jose, so it's not out of the question for Jason to take a trip to LA on the way. Not saying he'll do that, but just noting that it's not out of the question from a logistics standpoint.

Happy birthday, Jason! I have fond memories of my 23rd year-- and I hope he does too. I also feel old! What's up with these 90s kids being in their 20s now?! :)

Okay I guess I should say happy birthday, too- happy birthday, Jason!

And Mrs P I did think about San Jose-LA but wasn’t sure if it was close enough for him to consider? Anyway, I’m wishing Jason a wonderful new year, and that 23 is all he hopes it to be!

I have some married friends who are in a long-distance relationship. One works in San Francisco and the other works in Los Angeles. They go back and forth pretty easily on the weekends. I think the flight between LA and SFO/SJC/OAK is only about an hour.

Happy Birthday Jason. Hoping for the best present ever -- a great showing at Nats!!! :points: :hb: :party2:

This is the same IG poster who did the GPF banquet sketch, isn't it? Very talented.

And I am assuming that "Jason" in Rohene's IG post is Jason, showing his photography talents (?) (I think maybe he was trying to get the banner in?)

And Ro, as far as I know, has not said exactly what the injury is. Heal fast!

You scared the crap out of me!
I read your post before I saw the pic and thought that JASON was injured!! Shaking my head at myself :slink:

I didn’t realize how ambiguous that post was if you didn’t know the context:laugh2: Sorry for the scare:shocked:

OK, it has nothing to do with whether Jason is with Frank (and we all know that's a sight I would like to see)....

You may have seen this adorable IG post of Jason and a young Japanese fan.

@MGStyle was kind enough to translate for me on Facebook:

He asks the boy "how old are you?"
The boy answers "I am 3 (or 4, not clear)
Jason reacts dramatically, "REALLY??? WOW!!!"
then "SO AM I!"

No wonder that poor boy is looking at Jason like he doesn't know what's happening. Of course, Jason does have the heart of five year old, and I mean that as an absolute compliment....:)

Omigod that is priceless!

Hi all! I just joined the forum to express my admiration for Jason! I was a big figure skating fan in the early 90s and especially became a huge Michelle Kwan fan. After Sasha retired I lost interest in the sport. Jason's Riverdance program at 2014 National's drew me back in and I've been following (mainly him) ever since! Rooting him on for the Olympic team!!
