Jason Brown

I'm really happy to hear in these interviews how much Brian seems to have come to appreciate and respect Jason!! I'm glad he's able to appreciate what Jason can offer, and I do think even between the two GP events you could see a big shift in their relationship with one another (though perhaps winning the short program by 6 points with no quads in France probably helped).
Just god bless Tracy!!

I agree that IdF was an eye opener for Brian as to how he views Jason. And with Yuzu on the disabled list currently, my guess is that he had been working more with Jason than before during the lead up to Zagreb. I think Jason's assets are becoming more and more clear and Brian may be more aware that he can actually help Jason to get where he wants to go. We'll see! If both Brian and Tracy are on Jason's team, I think Jason will go as far as he can possibly go!

I am thankful to Tracy for actually giving Jason the chance.
He really deserves it and I am proud of him that he has proven he deserves to be there.

Why are the younger men so tall these days lmao

I think it's more of a Canadian thing. ;) Canada currently has, on average, the tallest stable of young male skaters than any other country. Conrad Orzel, Nam Nguyen, Joseph Phan, Roman Sadovsky, Nicolas Nadeau, and Corey Vercelli all range from about 5'11 to 6'1. I don't know what Canada has, but they obviously have like some sort of magic water over there :laugh2:

I'll also include Cha Junhwan onto the list since he went to Canada when he was 13, and obviously the water there worked on him too. Imao. Come to think of it, all of the guys listed, except Nadeau, trains or had once trained at TCC before. Maybe it's more like TCC's magic water. We should not be surprised if Jason suddenly has a small growth spurt too.

Happiest of Holidays!

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts/opinions and links to interviews, videos and fan art that have been posted over the year. I don't comment a lot, but I have enjoyed reading / watching them all.

Thanks to Tracy for believing in Jason and convincing Brian that he would be a great addition to TCC.

Most of all, thanks to Jason for providing countless moments of beauty and compassion over the year.

I need that Canadian magic water lol.
Jason seems to be very happy there and I am glad.

The dancing katmari said everything I feel perfectly!!!!!

I am trying to save up time to be able to watch some USA Nationals. In case that does not happen, I want to wish Jason GOOD LUCK! PLEASE medal! I think he could even win the Short Program.

Will it be coach Karen Preston with him? They made a great combination at Golden Spin of Zagreb. What a feather in her cap!

Best of luck to all the USA figure skaters!

Fan Fest Men: Jason Brown

Dear NanaPat, it has been so long I do not know if you will see this, but I have wanted to thank you so much for explaining how to calculate the World Rankings points. With your help, I was able to come up with the correct figure myself. You are an excellent teacher! It made me so happy to have LEARNED something about figure skating.

Also, thank you again to ice coverage! Two things learned in one season!
(Will be missing Max, Grant, y Adam next week! Good luck to Sean Rabbitt!)

Probably we are ALL secretly like stitchmonkey, thinking Jason Brown will WIN USA Nationals!

Of course I want Jason to win Nationals! But mostly I want to see him on the podium and on the World's Team. Nathan will be on his mettle knowing that Jason can skate the short really, really well! I want to see a clean Free from Jason and a season's best. Mostly, I want to see a confident, happy Jason at Nationals, enjoying every moment. I want everyone to see that he is truly a GREAT skater! Because he is!

Tracy lays out quite a nice table:thumbsup:

I wonder if this means no dude ranch for Jason this year  the times, they are a changin’....

With Nationals in 3 weeks, Jason probably wants to stay in full training mode this year. So maybe no Dude Ranch. He looks like he's having a Jason good time!

Yes, now that I think about it, maybe “dude ranch years” in the last four years were the “injury years”

We definitely don’t want to repeat that :roll9:

Agreed - but I think they usually go for New Years, no? So I wouldn’t be surprised if he went this weekend.

Honestly I am one of those wishing Jason could win Nationals. It maybe be difficult but is is possible.
And happy anniv to his parents. Seeing the photo he looks like a lot like his Dad?
