Jason Brown

It's actually not a bad skate, relatively speaking. The fall on the 3A actually ended up adding to the drama of the program...almost like it was deliberate . And on the reverse angle of the fall on the 3Lo you can see him smile as he rolls up. It was businesslike, probably not as beautifully as he could have skated it, but it was pretty good. His TES alone held up for quite a while.

He was charming and gorgeous in the gala as always.

On to Golden Spin! I am sure this was just a blip, and he will be ready later in the season.

I agree with this. Honestly, when you stack this up against the other NHK Trophy skates this was okay. The jumps he did do were really nice!

The improvement on the 3z-eu-3s is especially notable! He gets so much ice coverage. Once he gets a cleaner edge it's gonna score well.

Those posts with Jason at Ronald McDonald House and in the interviews were quite the tonic. :thumbsup:But of course Jason is more mature than I am in handling disappointment. :)

I wonder if Jason now has a standard routine during his Japanese Ronald McDonald visits. According to the comments on the Instagram and or Twitter post, he told the little boy that he was also six years old. I’m almost positive that he did the same thing or another visit when talking with a Japanese child.

It’s good to have a shtick.

He is SUCH a generous, genuine guy. I've been absolutely fuming all day about the horrendous comments made by Yagudin towards Jason - I don't understand how people can be so rude towards him, he's the nicest guy in skating, I doubt Jason has ever said a bad word about anyone!

Actually I never liked Yagudin as a person ever since the get-go of his career, from a few certain candidly captured scenes on TV which manifested his less than desirable character. Unfortunately years of growing hasn't changed him so it seems. He reportedly attacked and mocked not only Jason but also a few other at the same time, including even Kolyada, his compatriot. There is a petition going on to ban him from commentating on public broadcast.

Meanwhile there is another clip to make everyone smile and giggle... speaking in Japanese in a TV interview, he proudly shows off his latest vocabulary, taught by Satoko, a fun way to describe his curly hair (kuri-kuri!!) :laugh2: https://twitter.com/nwcgold2019/status/1198450783143878656

His ability to connect with the kids is so amazing. Such a kind-hearted soul -- our National Treasure.

This was literally the first thing I saw when I woke up this morning. I was not ready for the cute first thing Monday morning.

To all those in this thread that celebrate Thanksgiving - have a wonderful and peaceful and bountiful holiday. To those who don't......blessings and good wishes to you and your families.

:ghug:

Happy Thanksgiving from snowy, cold, foggy Ithaca, NY! It’s warm inside, though, sort of, and looking forward to being back in my own home for Golden Spin!

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends!

No rain or snow here, just a blanket of smoke...
