Jason Brown

He did train or trains 4F. I remember reading an article where it was said that he trained 4S, 4T and 4F before the concussion car accident and he had to stop for a while. I don't have a link though. I'm too lazy to find it. :)
Mr Orser said so :)

I think if they do have to rearrange things for the 4T, he should change the combo to 3F-3T - the GOE would be worth it.

Love that clip from OnIcePerspectives. I don't know what the costume is for Sinnerman, but I loved this close-up in the t-shirt because you could see the beautiful refined control in his arms in that opening.

I very much agree he should go for the 3F+3T. Not only for GOE but for confidence/comfort level.

Practice times are announced. Jason practices on Thursday at 1:08 to 1:48 Vegas time on Thursday as well as 9:07 to 9:42 PM that night. That's late night eastern time! I'll definitely watch the first practice. We'll see if I can stay awake for the 2nd. Vince is in his group. Hope the camera work is better this time.

New today on Fan Zone is a Jason interview (which happened to be recorded on his birthday).

Brian Boitano and Rusty Kath conducted the five-minute interview.

(BTW/ICYMI, Jason is one of the many skaters who took part in the dance challenge that Fan Zone posted on Jan 11. Fun to see the whole group.)

Jason discussing onesies on the ice is new ground. They didn't even get to color. Did anyone succeed in spotting Tracy during Emilia's practice session? I had to leave the room, so didn't see it all and didn't see Tracy.

I looked but didn't see anyone. Emilia kept going over to a spot at the boards that was in the corner behind one of the big cameras.

When I did see her, the coach was out of sight. I had hoped a different camera angle would give us a clue. They probably have assigned spots. I'm pretty sure Tracy is there. With Canadian Nats canceled, there isn't a lot of reason for her not to be there. They'll all have to quarantine when they return to Canada.

One reason for her not to be there is being almost 60 and traveling during a pandemic. I guess I hope she is there, for Jason's sake, but it wouldn't surprise me if she's not. So many things to consider.

I've watched Jason's ISP challenge performances enough to know them pretty well and I didn't recall seeing a move like photo 4 in either program. I re-watched the programs yesterday. (I know ... It's so tough to watch Jason's programs again! ;)) That move was not in either program on 9/22.
Going back a couple of weeks to when we were talking about Photo #4 in Danielle Earl's instagram with the pics from Jordan's shoot, that move was clearly on display today in the SP practice. In fact, there are so many choreographic elements in that program that I hadn't noticed before. I was amazed and was exhausted just watching it, and that was with no jumps! I feel this program is a masterpiece. I'm so excited!

Nice to know Tracy is there. :)

I had many distractions today, but was able to see the first practice. I wanted the camera to just follow Jason, which wouldn't be fair to anyone else. He was clearly attempting jumps outside of the camera range. This may have been the first practice for him since he left Canada. The SP looks like it is going to be great. Nathan trying to keep his shirt down was hilarious! Nothing fazes him. Loved Jackie's comment. Jackie hasn't posted Men's practice play by plays. I wasn't able to watch the 3rd group and was hoping for a synopsis.

And Jason is skating... last in the SP

   His lucky spot!

I'm dying. All over Twitter and FSU and GS people are gushing and going crazy over the SP runthrough. I couldn't watch it because Peacock. And there's no video. I'm dying. I can't decide if it's better that I don't see the practice video and then I get the full impact of the SP on Sunday or if I will even make it til Sunday having to read all these comments about how brilliant he is. I'm gonna die.

(Also, Jason: if you could kindly draw last to skate in the FS, that would be appreciated. I need to delicately slot you in between work meetings on Monday.)

Ok trying not to worry but... where was Jason during the evening practice?! But uh bless him for having the best FP music selection ever even if he wasn’t there for his run through though! Having major happy stage memory flashbacks from this already and I have a feeling his Slaughter program is gonna quickly become an all-time fav. Just hope he’s ok and just wanted an early night tonight? 😰

Here's a (translated) tweet from one of Jason's Japanese fans (who always seems to have inside info) on why Jason skipped the second practice session:

Jason, I don't know when I came from Canada, but Toronto is past 1am this morning ... I think Tracy decided it wasn't wise to force him to practice at that time.

I signed up for the 7 day Peacock Premium free trial just so I could watch Nationals. (It doesn't work with my Fire TV so I won't keep the subscription.) I caught Jason's practice this afternoon. He was spectacular on his run through even without jumps.
