The Dutch would say (literal translation): 'not the the greatest light among us'.Awww, everyone is too sweet,My light does shine brightly for Jason.
If you will forgive me for the OT, I have a question for @ladyjane. In American English we would say "not the brightest bulb/light in the chandelier" or "not the sharpest knife in the drawer" for someone who does not catch on quickly. Is there a similar saying in Dutch?
Or for our other non-American Anglophone friends outside of the US, or other language speakers, is it said differently?
