Well at least this year we will have to continue with David’s choreography on SL. If Jason continues in Toronto- he needs to change his contract to include his choice of choreographers for both programs. SL is growing on me in this version, I just don’t think it is finished. When all the talk starts about the quad and mistakes that may follow, it brings the excitement of the program down. Maybe by Nationals things will improve. I wish these competitions had not been canceled.

Watching it again yesterday, I was surprised at all the little details that are there and fault much more than the first time I saw this iteration that it is a strong counterpoint to Sinnerman. I think it will grow and grow like his other programs have. It's one of the reasons I am bummed that he lost a competition this week. I think, more than maybe other sisters' programs, Jason's really need mileage to get on his programs to get them where they can be.

Yes .. we both feel I think SL will be iconic for him … like bookends with Riverdance from young Jason and SL for our mature/young Jason:biggrin: how fortunate we are to have two versions and bet they will be compared in discussions years hence. I will miss him at GS but it is what it is.. Jason practices so much it likely won’t matter too much his missing another opportunity to compete…Nationals will be wonderful.. he loves skating on home ice!!
 
I tried educating myself by Google, but to little avail, so maybe those who know Twitter better than me can answer?

Are "Twitter Spaces" recorded and available for replay? Jason (and Elladj and Meryl) are talking this evening with Nick McCarvel.

Based on very quick research it looks like Twitter is testing recording and sharing of Twitter Spaces events. So I guess it depends on whether the host(s) decide to record or not. I’m a little confused as to whether 3:00 is EST or if it automatically accounts for time zones. But I guess we’ll find out. 😂

In other news, Jason’s Instagram story shows him lacing up skates at TCC. Glad to know he’s actually training!

Yay lacing skates! (with an ankle wrap, but I'll take it)

Twitter spaces evidently adjusts for your location, as it showing as 5 pm for me. The wonders of the interwebs...

Yes, I remembered to tune in as I was unloading groceries (good timing, good to listen to during chores). Of the three guests, Jason did most of the talking.

New tidbits: Jason did full runthroughs the day after GPF was canceled and then got "mopey" and refused to practice. Nick said he couldn't imagine Jason mopey. But the Golden Spin withdrawal may have been related to GPF letdown.

And he was terrible at playing two truths and a lie because he couldn't wait to let people know he knows Meryl's birthday:ROFLMAO:
 
It sounds like cancellation of GPF hit him a bit hard! 🙁 His version of a melt down was canceling some training sessions! So my guess is he withdrew from Golden Spin bc he wasn’t quite quite in the right head space and his training was interrupted (if only briefly). In any case, he said that after they got the news, he and Tracy sat down and made a new plan for the rest of the season.

ETA , el, great minds think alike. 😈 But your version is more colorful (and true to what he said 😊).
 
Jason knew the answer to 2 truths and a lie, so he jumped the gun. There was no buzzer. Meryl's reaction to Jason knowing her birthday was priceless. It was all classic Jason. I was happy to see that his parents were listening as well, though not at all surprised. I couldn't figure out how to add emojis and see them come up. I was on my computer. Maybe that was a phone thing.
