Jason has his own room in the athlete village. Have not heard about any apartments. I wish Jason had skated the team event.

Guys... it's finally here!! Jason is out on practice ice, for the last time, on the day of the Olympic Short Programme.
He did it!! He is closing the show with Sinnerman! I can't believe we have the privilege to witness this!

I saw a video showing the Beijing Olympic Village where skating teams are accommodated. These are new residential apartment buildings which will be delivered to their buyers after Paralympic Games. Each athlete has their own bedroom. I don't know if they share bathrooms. I suppose it depends on buildings and apartments. I hope there has been no contamination. What I hope is that VIncent hoping yesterday a negative new test meant it was only slightly positive, therefore unlikely to have contaminated anybody, or even a false positive, that is, he had only parts of viruses but no whole virus.

Is it possible to be 100% excited and nervous at the same time? I know it is. I feel like I do when I direct or choreograph. There is nothing I can do now but wait and watch the awesomeness.
He went clean and scored 97+. New PB! Final flight.

They should have given him 100, but they gave him a personal best. That was phenomenal! He got almost 98 points without a quad. Who else on this earth could do that? NO ONE ELSE!! So happy that he is in the final flight. And seeing Tracy and Brian at the boards with their extremely successful student, was fun too! Jason definitely had his Olympic moment. It was practically perfect! YAY!!!!

Haha, the same here- and have rewatched twice with more to come. I will miss Sinnerman; it is an exquisite program and this was a masterful performanceI was too nervous, I had to watch through fingers. I don’t think I took one breath.

HE WAS ROBBED IN PCS!!!
He should have been in fifth with appropriate pcs scoring argh!
BUT focusing on the positives - he was CLEAN - all the jumps were rotated, the spins were all level 4, he got perfect GOE on his step sequence and he got a new PB and made the final free skate group at the olympics!!!!
I'm so proud of him, I've been awake all night and now I am buzzing - going to rewatch it with as many different commentators as I can find! I also heard he did an NBC interview post skate where he was crying happy tears - has anyone seen it/got a link?

I uploaded the BBC commentary (Robin Cousins) of Jason's SP on another site - find it here. They are very, very complimentary of Jason!! The legendary sinnerman, the programme that skaters around the world will remember for a very long time.
He's officially my least favorite commentator now.So exciting! I enjoyed waiting to see Jason as the last skater and seeing Sinnerman for possibly the last time. It was beautiful and he did just what he needed to do.
Agreed! Jason’s relationship with Tracy is wonderful. I’m sure they’ve cried many tears together. His performance was perfect and the audience stood for him.

When I finally came down from Cloud 9 last night and the adrenaline levels settled down, I had the sudden realization that Jason is in exactly the same position he was after the SP in Sochi. The cast of characters is different but Jason is in the same spot. This skate was more memorable for sure, and I hope his ultimate finish is higher than Sochi. His score is significantly higher than Sochi, of course. I think that if he draws last skate this time, he'll be able to handle it very, very well!
