Jason Brown

Jason helps a local skater prior to the SOI show

Jason will skate for Friends on Ice shows in Yokohama, Japan (8/25-8/27) again.
We still have no news of him for the Tour B of Fantasy on Ice. Tour A was conflicting with Stars on Ice North America, but I had courted a little hope that we would see him on Tour B. Seeing David Wilson's birthday yesterday at Fantasy on Ice, with Satoko Miyahara, Keiji Tanaka, Yuzuru Hanyu gave me memories of Notte Stellata in March.

Rohene is the Professional Skaters' Association Choreographer of the Year (fourth time winning since 2015). He won at least in part because of Melancholy, and the Impossible Dream.

Ro also won the INSPIRE award (which I believe is promoting diversity equity and inclusion).

Jason earlier won the men's performance award at Nats for "Melancholy", according to the Internet. PSA is horrible at updating their website :( hope to see official notice soon.

I saw that I think it's great. Ro is dedicated to making a place in skating for people of color. I am so glad that it's being recognized. Melancholy is beautiful! The stars aligned when Kori asked Ro to work with Jason. It was a momentous event. There is no way to imagine what skating would be like if that had not happened.

Melancholy is growing so much on me. Is it still my second preferred program of Jason Brown's after Riverdance? Or has it not surpassed it? But I do think it needs a large rink.

Jason does a promo on a local Chicago station for the SOI show tonight.

And at the end talks about how he will compete “a little bit more” (yes, we know, but it’s good to hear the words straight from Jason:love2:

I've always appreciated Rohene's originality - no war horses, none of the same music that everyone else is skating to death, and his ability to always come up with the right music for his skater. Congratulations Ro. And let's not forget that it takes an exceptional skater to do justice to his programs! :yahoo:

Thank you for the link! It is good to hear from him that he's still up for some competition.

Hi, This isn't my normal hangout but just wanted to stop in and say that my family and I enjoyed the SOI show in the Chicago area yesterday and Jason was a nice surprise, along with our favorite. He sure did get a hometown welcome. We especially liked his BSB routine.

He's a very impressive interviewee - relaxed, articulate, enthusiastic and engaging.

Choreographed!! ✨

One hour of choreography
I was 🥹 really happy in no time.

We are very happy to unveil it at Fantasy on Ice.
Jason was also happy and sent 😳 me a message.

I too was as the Chicago show and Jason absolutely brought the house down. I was lucky enough to cross a bucket list item off by getting on ice seats. We were on the far end and Jason practically jumped in my lap lol. First time for hubby coming with me and he really enjoyed it (and Jason) as well.
