Jason Brown

Jason helps a local skater prior to the SOI show

That was nice of him.

Looks like a bus ride to Boston for the SOI crew. Good thing we know Jason has gotten good at sleeping on busses, that's a seven hour trip, and then seven hours back to Hershey.

Always a shame they can't arrange for the rinks in a more convenient manner (I know, availability!) But Hershey is way closer to Ball'mer than Boston :)

Yes, Balm'mer, Hershey, Boston makes more sense. They could have done Bal'mer on Friday night, matinee in Hershey on Saturday and Later afternoon in Boston on Sunday. Much less travel. And lots of flights to everywhere from Boston. I'm sure they had their reasons. I wish I could be in Hershey tomorrow. Every who gets there, scream and yell for Jason for me!

Jason Brown's autograph is now permanently in the Sekisui Heim Super Arena in Rifu, near Sendai, with those of the other Notte Stellata skaters, but I figured out only two, not including Jason Brown:

(The frame was spotted by attendants to Fantasy on Ice, which second stop, this weekend, happens in the same venue.)

That's so cool; thank you for flagging this (I only know Jason and Satoko :) )

Thought this was interesting and a little out of the ordinary for Jason:

He contributed a blurb for this book on "The Happiness Prayer: Ancient Jewish Wisdom for the Best Way to Live Today"

"Rabbi Moffic makes Judaism relevant to our daily lives. He inspires us to view ethical values through an inclusive and universal lens encouraging us to find acceptance, joy, and happiness in everything we do."—Jason Brown, Olympic figure skater

pride,

Of course, who better to speak to a happiness prayer than Jason. :)

Rabbi Moffic is the rabbi at Congregation Solel Highland Park, where the Browns are members. He wrote about Jason in 2014 for the synagogue newsletter.

An interview with the French website Skate-info-glace. They provide their own English translation.

Most of the information may be that which devoted Jason fans have seen before, but I did not know he was aiming for a new PB for his SP at Worlds. Had he been in the last flight, who knows?

And he is not saying no to Worlds in Boston. ;)

Jason gets a bobblehead of Jason! His reaction is everything!
