Jason Brown

Nick McCarvel interviewed Jason for USA Today and, while no further details were revealed, Jason confirmed his hair will be partly down in his FS:

Other topics included fame after the Olympics, progress on the quad, and building toward 2018.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I like the sound of this! I have been dying for him to wear his hair down ever since I heard the music for T&I!

Just a quick question: has Jason bleached his hair? I just can't keep up with that kid!

Dyed hair .. oh no I hope that the color is not the result of a artificial hair color or wrong use of iron or hair straightener chemicalia... I mean burned and damaged hair ...
I hope that this photo is hair after a summer in the sun and in very bright light
It would be a disaster to ruin these curls with dye and iron ...
At first I was hoping that the hair was so clear because they were without a lot of gel so that is were natural ... but now I'm starting to be afraid ... Do not ruin these wonderful hair brown curls please

No worries. It's definitely a light thing.

His hair is his usual brown here:

If you like brown curls, those of Jason's friend Max Aaron are dark and thick and (usually) unstraightened. ;)

I do think that Jason does a very good job of styling his hair into a sleek ponytail.
[Left completely natural, his hair apparently can get too frizzy. http://instagram.com/p/slSle6lYcY/ (Sep 2014); http://instagram.com/p/n_yt0CTXGb/ (May 2014)]

ETA, was this fun little Instagram video from Champs Camp incl. Jason (but unrelated to hair ;)) ever posted?

ETA, could it be that Tara Modlin is 'fessing up as the culprit who dropped Team Kori at the wrong airport terminal??? #maybesomaybenot

ohh... Í am very sade... i think Jason has very very nice hair... it is a crime rovine this nice curl hair!!!
Your English is fine, and you are right, as Rosh HaShanah starts, a happy New Year to Jason!

As a curly gal myself, although that hardware looked like a straightener (something I have never used, thank heavens when I was young, Afros were cool, as were Italian fros, Jewish fros, and my own Irish fro. :), based on Jason's ponyail, he does not straighten it. Those are curls at the end, and if he straightened it, that would be the first to go. He does gel and spray it within an inch of its life (I recognized two of the products as ones i have used), but it's not straight.

Although who knows about the new programs:slink: But i hope those of you who can watch the stream keep those of us at work updated about any and all new looks!

I have curly/wavy hair that gets frizzy and fuzzy and behaves much like Jason's does (though it's a different shade - a red that has hairdressers asking me every time, "Is this natural?"). I don't do much with it beyond a good shampoo, a brush, and a ponytail (especially for skating). But on competition day, I'll break out the straightener. It's all very well to know that curly/wavy hair looks nice, but when you need it under control to an extreme level, the straightening iron is your friend.

I think Jason does straighten his hair for comps, but I think he mostly does the top part, which is the bit you really need to get under control. I remember him mentioning a few years ago that it took him 20 minutes to straighten his hair. It's quite possible to straighten hair but leave curls at the end.

Thank, golden411 I know Max Aaron is very good skater and nice person. But since I re-watch the figure skating since I saw Jason on the ice (the famous Riverdance). (Before this last time I was watching FS programmes when I was kid.) I think in the last 30 years the figure skatig has been very acrobatic almost like circus. The same thing happened in the rithmical gymnastics. As a child, I stopped doing it because I felt it too sporty and less artistic.
I love dance: classical ballet, modern dance, contemporary dance, Graham-technique ... ecc. For me, Jason especially is a wonderful dancer: his physique, his structure of the bones and muscles, his delicate power, his spinal posture and his interpretation of music and coreographie ... while many other skater just great for jumps and get dramatic eyes between two jumps and the hand clutching the air.
If Jason would be bald also he would be a fantastic dancer on the ice...  The only extra: I think he has very nice curly light brown hair, and his ponytail nicely accompanies his movements.
Thanks for "fuzzy" photos. :) I like the slightly fuzzy hair because it is not boring. Unfortunately in figure skating the audience and the judges also take very seriously all hair of the competitors must be neatly ...

Red and curly hair: nice :) For me not problem to see a fuzzy dancer. OK maybe a Swan Lake with a lot of curly swann can be very embarassing.. But two or tree swans? And the Principe is often performed by a curly dancer.
Sadly in the figure skating the rules are different...

I don't know.. but on the fifth photo Jason's hair is brighter end redder than Kori's hair... I hope it's bleached by water and sunshine in summer not by haircolor... or maximum henna powder

To be honest I think we may have it the other way around. . . I think he may have been darkening in the past and is now letting go back to his more natural color.

It also could be that when he competes he has so much gel in it, it may as well be wet and looks darker.

Also it looks like Kori is sporting more of an auburn red than a ginger red there, so that is part of it.

The important thing is that Jason's hair to remain healthy!

My daughter oroginally has lot of curly dark brown hair. But he hates this kind of hair. Since the age of 15 she are using hair straightener. Since I have not seen her curly hair, unfortunately. Then she used many tmes hair colors (to make "interesting" lila, red, purple straits). Now she is 25 old and has hair totally damaged. Is a very sad story.
