Jeff Buttle: This Season

Does Canada have only one spot for the Worlds?

Two in 2008 for men and ladies singles..........I Fear this may go down to one for 2009 in both disciplines (I hope not but...............):cry::disapp::disapp::ohwell:

Three pairs and dance teams for 2009 but again, fear this will go down to 2 in 09:cry::cry:

I hope I am wrong!!

IMO, Jeff will win Canadians this year due to his artistry and experience and maturity.........not sue in 09 and 10 but still possible.

IMO, he will plce in top 6 at worlds but not on the podium .......hope I am wrong. I think he has the artistry and skating capability but his jumps are to iffy and to win, someone else would have to make a mistake OR (preferably) he skates cleanly and then he would win IMO:clap::clap:

Jeffrey Buttle

I heard that jeff has been struggling this season because of breaking in new skates. His short program "Pagliacchi" reminds me of Luchiano Pavarotti singing that sad clown song. I hope jeff gets it perfect at Canadians. That program is a masterpiece. Plus Jeff is so easy on the eyes. Cutest skater ever!

You mean changing boots recently?

Yeah, I also hope that Jeff does good in Nationals as he did last year:agree: And yes, he surely is very cute:love:

Each to his own taste. I don't find a scrawny man who skates with his mouth hanging open even vaguely attractive.

I find his skating attractive................he is very graceful and very pleasing to watch. He seems to have a very nice personality too which helps.:clap:

Scrawny?:disagree:

Mouth hanging Open??:scratch::disagree:

If he had a consistent quad and 3A, he'd be World Champion

Jeff is a wonderful guy and an excellent roll model to all young skaters on how to work hard and have excellent sportsmanship :yes::clap:

Jeff has a very wholesome look and is always exceedingly gracious in interview.

But I do think that he looks just a bit like Howdy Doody, especially when he had the highlighted hair that was full on top.

I am glad to know that many find that wholesome kind of look attractive. Guess I always liked a bit of a bad boy, myself .

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: - that is toooo funny, Mathman!!! I don't know
where you come up with these things, but they are truely great!!!

Now, although I think you are a bit right about Clay I have a better one - Kevin Renolds - I don't know how to find a picture of him to show you, but he is a true Howdy Doody look alike (Sorry Kevin if you read this!!! :) )

Howdy Doody was before my time...............:biggrin:

WRT Jeff's looks............I never said he'd be the kinda guy I would want to 'date.' I only like to watch him skate..............like you, I prefer a different type outside of watching figure skating. He's a bit too boyish for me even though I can truly say this Doody guy was before my time.

I totally agree that Jeff is good-looking. Judging from his interviews, he seems to be a nice, fair, and honest person. I like it that he can be adorable. But he also seems to be smart, intelligent, and artistic in soul.
Regarding his skate, I like the way he has a range of expressions. He can skate to different types of music and make them of his own.

Are you sure that is kevin? Doesn't look like him but then the last time I saw him he looked soooooooooooooooo Young

Yupp - that's him! He grew at least a foot, it seems, about a year ago. I didn't recognize him myself last year in Halifax. (He still looks like Howdy Doody thought)
