This board has been unusually quiet lately about JW. Don't we have any spies in northern NJ that can give us some idea of what's going on with him?

Or am I one of the few people left who hasn't written him off in favor of Evan?

I've actually been hoping for a new journal entry this past week or so, but if he's buckled down, well, hopefully, the next one will be a very happy one following Cup of Russia.
Interestingly enough, he'll apparently go directly to Russia from China. I don't know if he's doing another show or working with Tarasova or someone similar for two weeks. But it'll probably leave him in a much better mood at CoR.

It should be this way. It's a good sign. I am not hoping to see him active doing any other thing. Wish him luck at Cup of China! I actually do not wish to see his journal before CoC. He can write it after.

If I remember correctly, Johnny said in an interview recently that after CoC, he was heading to Russia to continue practicing at a skating school run by a friend of his coach. I'm actually waiting for the new Q&A which was posted as coming soon on October 10th.

Johnny's trains in New Jersey but to avoid having to go from New Jersey to China, back to New Jersey and then to Russia within a three week period, he's heading straight to Russia after Cup of China.
