josh's sp at 2008 us nationals... so, he was like 13 years old back then?
Amazing flexibility

I am getting a "this vid removed by user" message:ohwell:

But I have heard of Josh's amazing flexibility as a youngster, and IIRC, those moves inspired Jason to work on his own flexibility. Friendly competition can certainly bring results.:cheer2:

Oh my gosh, even more babyJosh!!!!!!! He's so little and adorable!

PS: He was actually twelve in this video :)

Holy guacamole Charlotte spiral into 2Lz-2Lo (omg baby Josh before he was doing triples sooooo cute)

awww spreadeagle into 2A

big stag jump (I think, the angle was weird) into 2F (tano)

great combo spin with Biellmann to the commentator's surprise

omg look at his smile you can actually see how handsome he will be in like eight years.

Well well well look who's next straight after him!!!!!!! This was their first ever 1-2! babyJason!!!!!

Awwwwwwww he's so happy about his score (but lol omg it's so weird to go from watching him turn in 80+ SPs with 40+ PCS to....15 PCS)

Does anyone know when the icenetwork article of his Q&A with Nick McCarvel is coming out? Those tweets last week were sucha tease!

Gosh, he was really amazing even then, and his jumps were beautiful. I'm really curious, though, as to why he's seemingly so much less flexible now. I mean, his leg position in that spin rivals Lipnitskaia.

And FigureSkatersOnline will be publishing its own new interview with Josh. :)

We are being spoiled with Joshy goodness!

Not an expert, but don't men usually get less flexible as they older at any rate? And this was before Josh began on a string of really bad injuries and general misfortune, so it's possible that in rehabbing all of those, his flexiblity suffered a little. He can still hit 180 on his split jump at times, which is good.

Ah, I forgot about those injuries - they could have had a huge effect.

I think people can get less flexible with age for sure, so maybe that's part of it, too.

Nick McCarvel, welcome to Golden Skate, and thank you for telling us about the article.:cheer:

What a good head he has on his shoulders. Positive and confident, but still realistic and humble. I'm glad he views NHK as a turning point for him.

The article will be out in the next couple of weeks. No set publish date yet... Hope that helps!

LOL, I see now that you quietly joined our ranks in December ;), and we finally have the opportunity to welcome you on the occasion of your first post today :yay:.

Hope that we'll hear from you again here among the GS threads .
