I am wondering whether the Jr. Worlds will be broadcast at all?

I know last year CBC decided to pick it up, which I was ecstatic about. But do we know if anyone is going to this year? I'm pretty sure this year, Jr Worlds isn't being broadcast. Or at least as far as I know. However, CBC doesn't update their broadcasting schedule that far in advance. *sigh*

I am praying to God that they will broadcast it! I haven't seen hide nor hair of Virtue/Moir this year, after being spoiled last year with the ability to see so much of this talented ice dance couple!

And there are a few others I wouldn't mind watching - skaters - from the junior ranks!

Oh yeahhhhh...Jr. Worlds was in London, wasn't it? or Kitchener...I forget...:D

Thanks tripletwist....I've got it already on my computer! :D

According the the list of accredited media I received last week the only accredited people with blue TV rink accreditation are RTV Slovenia, NRK Norway, Fuji TV Sports Japan.

On this same list, the only Canadians are myself & David Carmichael. The only American is Barry Mittan, Sandra Stevenson is here from GBR and Arthur Werner from GER. Everyone else is from SLO or JPN (and there's a whole bunch of people from Japan)

I bet Japan will pick it up because Mao will be there and figure skating fever is probably high because Shiz just won the Olympics.

If Japan picks it up on their broadcast I would love them forEVER! LOL

Maybe then we could possibly get some coverage....:D

World Junior FS Championships

I just finished watching the Ladies competition. This was the first time I have seen Ya Na Kim skate. I was very impressed. She is very poised, elegant and has beautiful jumps. If she continues to skate this well, she is bound to give Kimmie Meissner serious competition.

At such a young age, Ya Na Kim is a very artistic skater---not just a jumping bean.
