What does not mean that Ashley's jump is bad. It is great and worthy of +2. Midori's was better, so what? Basically, Midori's jumps surpass anyone's jumps thus we should stop watching other jumps and appreciate only Midori's ones? Wait, that would be terrible as I wouldn't be able to gaze at Carolina skating through the entire Olympic-size skate rink in order to set-up her triple lutz.
Coming back to Ashley, she had a very well choreographed program this season with plenty of transitions. Loop has spread eagle in and turn and body movement out. Adding to that the flow she has and not extraordinary but good height I would certainly give it +2.
Her flip has several turns on the approach and then a turn on the exit and nice, creative body-transitions. Usually skaters would just do a turn on the exit like Yu-Na or Joannie to secure the bullet for creative/difficult exit and Ashley bends her body and does moves hear head and arms. That's nice:
