The article reads, "Lyons sent a letter pointing out that as a rural part of the province, Yarmouth doesn’t benefit from the same opportunities that other places do where skaters would be more apt to visit due to geography."

Thanks O4G! I like the honesty in her answers, which present both the success and challenges that she faced on her journey thus far. Kaetlyn is a fantastic role model and I'm sure motivated many of the younger generation who attended the seminar. I would love to see more future skating stars coming from Atlantic Canada, who were inspired by Kaetlyn's journey.
