Kaetlyn Osmond

What a nice article re Kaetlyn's recent trip to Yarmouth, NS. Marilee Lyons of the Yarmouth Skating Club says organizing the visit started last spring. The article reads, "Lyons sent a letter pointing out that as a rural part of the province, Yarmouth doesn’t benefit from the same opportunities that other places do where skaters would be more apt to visit due to geography."

Thanks O4G! I like the honesty in her answers, which present both the success and challenges that she faced on her journey thus far. Kaetlyn is a fantastic role model and I'm sure motivated many of the younger generation who attended the seminar. I would love to see more future skating stars coming from Atlantic Canada, who were inspired by Kaetlyn's journey.

I was given Stars on Ice tickets for valentines day and I'm excited to see Queen Kaetlyn. There's still meet and greet avail so I should get on that.

Just a few more days until the torch is passed and in reflection, there will never be a swan like this Black Swan! As shocking it was for some to conceive, may their myopia only be momentary and they always question their assumptions.

In celebration of the current World Champion, here again is her winning skate.
