Well, you could have simply looked in a couple of protocols from recent ice dance competitions (like Skate America/Skate Canada and Rostelecom Cup) to see the base value mark for teams who had level 4, level 3 or level 2 twizzles. I don't even remember anyone receiving level 1 for twizzles, though (not in the competitions I mentioned, and not in any other competitions that I have seen). There have been cases when twizzles received no value at all - usually it's when one of the partners falls or puts his/her foot down already going into twizzles.

Anyway, the base value for level 4 twizzles is 6.60 points, for level 3 - 5.60, for level 2 - 4.60. So I am assuming that level 1 would be 3.60 (?). Weaver/Poje lost 2 points from base value + some GOE on their twizzles in this case which is pretty big in short dance.

I'm not sure but NicolettaL might have mean features you need to get levels on Twizzles, not values.

Damn. My english is worse and worse. I know BV for the twizzles, but I want to know what determines receiving f.e STwl4

I like their new programs, especially the FD. There were a couple "ooh" moments in that.

I'm not yet sold on SD, but -surprisingly for me - their FD has a real potential. I think it's mainly due to the fact that the program has this 'drama', sensual feel like Je suis malade or Maria del Buenos Aires FDs and this is exactly their kind of programs.

There are quite a few 'ooh' moments indeed - for me especially first WOW stationary rotational lift (I see it's trending this season big time - Virtue/Moir has one, so do Shibutanis, Papadakis/Cizeron...) and second step sequence. Already their special connection shines through the program, there goes of course the fact that this was its first showing and the program needs to be more gelled and polished (they look a bit too 'heavy', but it'll be fixed I think), but I have high hopes:cheer:

Yes best of luck to them in China! :cheer: I am really rooting for them to win and make the GPF!
