I wish I could watch Kao at Skate Canada without being nervous, but I have a feeling I'll be nervous!! I never can tell if he's injured, nervous, or does his speed get the better of him. Wishing him well and hoping he has a good competition..

Kao Miura "played it half safe" in the Short Program, I hope that he won't exhaust himself in the Free and that the result will be good! The important part of the season is from All Japan Nationals!

I so admired him. He was tired in the second half of the FS, you could see that, but he still managed to pull it off! A medal. Good for him!

All I can say is that I admire Miura and simultaneously worry about him to about the same degree. I hope everything will be well, because would like him to make the Olympic team along with Sato.

Good job by Kao. He had his usual super energy but kept it under control. I was worried he was still injured. He'll really feel the pressure in the free, and I wish him a skate he can feel proud of.

The first time I saw him live was at Skate Canada 2022. I remember at practice thinking "Ok what was that blur that just went by. Oh, it was Kao!" His speed was unbelievable.

I see Yuma in the SP and Shun in the FS in the team event. I think it's wise to get Kao some international recognition before the Olympics so maybe he will have a higher start place in the Men's event. Best wishes to him. I'm sure he's ecstatic.

Just one thing for those who don't know... As Kao Miura's DM account is closed, I suppose that only paper mail would work; unless it has changed lately, the Japanese Skating Federation forwards mail to competitive skaters affiliated to them.
I don't know if there's a specific address for mail forwarding to athletes, but their official mail address is:
4-2, Kasumigaokamachi, Japan Sport Olympic Square, Shinjuku-ku, 160-0013 TOKYO, JAPAN.
I don't know this address in Japanese kanji, but usually Japan Post people can read transcription in Latin Alphabet.
