Unfortunately, I am not aware of the pre-short program news conference, so I wouldn't know whether a transcript for it existed.

Speaking of biographies, Daisuke Takahashi, Mao Asada, and Yuzuru Hanyu have all had biographies/autobiographies published, as far as I'm aware. But they are in Japanese without official translations, so it can be challenging to find fan translations unless the skater has a dedicated international fandom.

Kaori seems to be well-liked and quite popular among figure skating fans. I wouldn't be surprised if she decides to write one in the future.

I would read it for sure. As a historian, I like autobiographies, even though they are often written with the help of a professional writer...(The pro writer is given credit, of course) Case in Point. I have listened to Nato General Gunther Rall lecture quite a few times before he passed, both about before WWII ended and his time after in the Post War Luftwaffe. (His wife helped smuggle Jews out of Germany) After he passed, one of the people who did one of his authorized biographies, Kurt Braatz, who is an accomplished pilot himself, talked to the OSHKOSH wisconsin fly in over a big screen tv and told happy and sad stories about Gunther, which were very enlightening. I hope Kaori does do a biography.

"This is a person I met while studying at university. We are the same age. He is completely opposite to me: always calm and able to think things through.
