I am not crying...YOU are crying. ..despite all the terrible stats on Japanese and US marriages, I somehow have good thoughts about this one.

I saw a photo today of Kaori, Shun and Yuma playing some picture card game and she had an engagement ring on and no one noticed. Huh. Yuma was asked if he knew she was married or engaged and he said he did. I'm guessing he's one of the tight lipped friends she told about getting married. Best wishes to her for a happy life.

Well, she did a good job as did her friends on keeping any rumors mum! She would have had to be careful on when and where to put on her engagement ring. I wonder if they will have a now more open, formal wedding? I follow a Japanese lady motorcyclist on instagram/youtube as she tours Japan and models at motorcycle shows. When she got married, she elected to not out her husband for his privacy sake but does occasionally show herself with their child.

I suspect you're right. Probably doesn't want her husband's privacy invaded since he's obviously not a public person. I was wondering if they had a formal wedding already but they had a wedding, that's for sure. May 5th happens to be Yuma's birthday, too! I'm so happy for Kaori.

My interpretation...often wrong...was that they registered their Marriage. It would be pretty hard but not impossible to hold a formal wedding and keep it under wraps.
As a for instance, my good friend's mother issued the marriage licenses for a town near Lake Tahoe. One day, in came famous USAF pilot General Chuck Yeager and his new soon to be wife....that secret didnt last long! LOL!
Or
The Fourth King of Bhutan married 4 sisters on the same day legally, but the actual marriages were quite a bit later.

This weekend at Fantasy on Ice Kaori will perform her new exhibition program choreographed by... Wakaba Higuchi .
It is to "Feeling good" by Sofi Tucker.
Can't wait to see it! Hopefully there will be some footage.
