Kazuki Tomono

I submitted a question to him completely in Japanese. I really hope he’ll see it and respond. I wonder if all the questions and answers will be in another article?
Ohhh that's so cool! I hope they pick your question. Yes, I believe the answers will be published in a different article!

Check out this picture with kevin! So cool!

Thanks for the interview, Rainbow! It was nice to hear Kazuki's thoughts on the galas and choreo. I agree he's got a set of 3 strong programs this season. Looks like I'll have to get used to those suspenders and the punk makeup, lol 🤷‍♀️
That's very disappointing to hear about the Daily Kazuki account. I am guessing it's copyright? :/
@KiraraChin , about Kazuki focusing on expression, I think it's because he can afford it now. He's struggled with consistency for several seasons, but now that he's been a high achiever for the entire season or more, I suppose he has gained a strong mindset which allows him to finally relax and stop focusing on the jumps. Many other boys are still up and down, hence their focus on jumps I guess. They need to learn to master their nerves, like Kazuki. :)

I wonder what made Kazuki want to do this with the consultation? If I met him I would be honored to spend the day hearing his thoughts about various topics because he is so mysterious. How fun! The photo of the two of them is so nice. I wish I could see his dance battles because I bet he brought the house down with his cool moves.

Hey maybe Kazuki will dedicate a NowVoice or a new article to talking about how he handles the nerves. It would be interesting to hear his insight on it.

Here is a fun question. If you could give Kazuki a title what would it be? I’ve probably already said my title for him. I call him the figure skating, ramen eating, sauna loving man. It’s using 3 of his favorite things to describe him.

That's a very good point. It was sweet when he said he felt touched when the announcer listed his achievements this past season. I feel like the big switch between the 2020-21 and 2021-22 season in terms of mentality was that he stopped trying to chase the younger quadsters, and came to terms with himself, with what he can and cannot do. He said he wanted to be 'the best Kazuki Tomono possible' and that really helped him! Now he's saying he wants to make things even more personal, but at the same time trying new things.

I think it's because of the overwhelming response nonno magazine has been getting from fans! Every time an article about him is published, it tops the list of most read articles in that week 😎

Guys, I have some good news! Daily Kazuki is back on Twitter! 🙌

Kazuki on the Shoma/Nathan "duet".. "THE ICE" is full of highlights such as collaborations and a stormy finale. In particular , the collaboration between (Uno) Shoma-kun and Nathan (Chen) was so moving that I thought, "I'm going to cry like this already." (translation) So sweet..

I am wondering how many more articles do you think Kazuki will do in the series? There is so many more topics he could talk about. Maybe there will be one where he just talks about Ramen. That would be awesome 😎 all his articles are so great.

I really enjoyed this latest article! Some highlights for me:

'For me, the sauna is a place to reconsider myself and have a dialogue with myself. As you meditate, you may find that you can " determine with your mind (brain) " rather than with your senses .When I close my eyes and concentrate on my breathing, I feel that my head is becoming more and more white, and I call it " enlightenment ." Eliminating distractions and resetting the mind has a positive effect on the competition, and it also helps relieve stress when something unpleasant happens. You can accept bad results and change your mind so that you can do your best next time'

'Recently, the number of skaters who are addicted to saunas has increased one after another, and I'm just happy.'

'One of the things I look forward to is buying original goods for my favorite sauna , and I collect towels and stickers. In particular, I have quite a collection of towels, and the moment I choose which sauna towel I should go with today is like deciding on the outfit for the day.'

'France is a country where I went to last season's world championships, so I'm lucky and I'm burning with revenge for my free skate. And above all, I got goosebumps when I was with (Yamamoto) Sota. We can finally fight together.
Sota has always been my goal, and it has been my dream for many years to compete in a senior international match. He seemed to be in good shape at the recent training camp, and it seems that the first match was also good. Sota is definitely a talented player, and he is also the most scary person to me. That's why I think I'll be fighting with Sota very conscious this season.'

Kazuki is currently sitting in second with a score of 82.43. I haven't seen his program, but it his jumps were 4T3T, 4S (fall), and 3A. There were some issues with two spins so not lv4 on them, but I hear the program was really nice to watch even so. :)
Good luck in the free as well, Kazuki! 💪
