Kazuki Tomono

I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with Kazuki. He was visibly not well, and yet managed to keep it together enough for a season's best.
Well done, ramen boy. I'm so so proud of you.

You did well, Kazuki, now rest well before the free. Based on the reports, I expected him to fall on his quad, but he didn't. What a little fighter he is! There's a new day tomorrow, and how the FPs go is a blank page as of yet. Good luck, and please get well quickly.
And the cute fan presents, aww. ^ ^

So, yesterday Kazuki got this amazing Ramen plushie and was super happy about it: https://twitter.com/Summer29child/status/1055936896113627136?s=19

Turns out the plushie was handmade! The sheer love and dedication put into this was outstanding: https://twitter.com/annepanwaplan/status/1055977021254389760?s=19

(Incidentally, this is the same lady who owns the awesome fan page https://tomonokazuki.tumblr.com)

On other news, my friend who was at ACI recorded this little video for me 😻

I was so happy!

Just got a chance to watch the SP! I’m proud of him. Great musicality and he looked more comfortable going into the quad to me :) Now the Free... praying for him to do well and for his health to be better today.

That plush ramen is so cute!

That was such a great gift  I really want to see it as Kazuki's K&C companion in every competition

And ooh, every time when I think this baby can't get any cuter. He proves that I am totally wrong!!!

So, what is next after witnessing his friend lifting him bridal style on national TV, lol

Wish him the best of luck in his FS today

So it wasn't the clean programme Kazuki expected, but that's alright.
It's a challenging programme anyway, and he was sick, plus it's normal to be nervous as he's still very green (literally and figuratively) on the international circuit.
At the end of the day he was still very entertaining, and that's Kazuki for you. He will still grow a lot, I'm sure of it.

Better luck next competition for our Kazuki. Despite the jumps problems and multiple falls, I think he was committed to the details in this program more than his SP and did deliver an entertaining performance and we got to see his smile with that big green hat gift :luv17:

I really hope we get to see him delivering this program clean

I wished he could take some rest after this competition to recharge but seems he will be going to the national sectional competition next weekend although I read before that he was exempted!! but at least his next GP is going to be in mid November not directly after the sectional.

I just wanted to transcribe here what the B.ESP uncles said about Kazuki's FP @ Skate Canada, because it really sums up why I love Kazuki so much:

- But I'll tell you the thing that shone out for me, Simon, was that the first minute of the programme was nothing like he was planning to do, it was littered with mistakes, and it would've felt terrible, but he never let his head go down, he pushed his way through that programme, if you'd joined the programme for the last minute, you'd think he didn't put a foot wrong!

- Yeah, absolutely.

- His head was up, he sold it, he came pushing, he was milking every possible point he could. Even after the mistakes. You gotta take your hat off to him.

- It's a great routine!

- It is! Yeah.

- But it needs... better execution than that.

- It's a tough routine. To go out and have all the components that he's got there, and to sell the programme like that, AND do the technical stuff, it's very very difficult indeed... All credit to him for trying.

Sorry if the info has been provided or if someone asked before, but where can we watch the Sectionals SP tomorrow?
