I just wanted to transcribe here what the B.ESP uncles said about Kazuki's FP @ Skate Canada, because it really sums up why I love Kazuki so much:
- But I'll tell you the thing that shone out for me, Simon, was that the first minute of the programme was nothing like he was planning to do, it was littered with mistakes, and it would've felt terrible, but he never let his head go down, he pushed his way through that programme, if you'd joined the programme for the last minute, you'd think he didn't put a foot wrong!
- Yeah, absolutely.
- His head was up, he sold it, he came pushing, he was milking every possible point he could. Even after the mistakes. You gotta take your hat off to him.
- It's a great routine!
- It is! Yeah.
- But it needs... better execution than that.
- It's a tough routine. To go out and have all the components that he's got there, and to sell the programme like that, AND do the technical stuff, it's very very difficult indeed... All credit to him for trying.
