Kazuki Tomono

Does anyone know the whole story during the 4CC 2020 when Kazuki was in the back with Nam and Keegan and Nam was held upside down by them and getting tickled?
Ha ha I'm not sure if there is a story, basically Nam is very playful and they were all having fun in the green room together. This was the other occasion when they showed the green room and they seemed to be having fun:

It made me laugh so hard when Kazuki and Keegan were tickling Nam! If only the camera had stayed on long enough to see the two of them really tickle him. We really only see Keegan doing the tickling. Kazuki is about to but the camera cuts back to the kiss and cry.

Yay, good for Kazuki! Not that we expected him to be passed over in any shows :dance3:I wonder what program he'll skate :) Bills?

(To me, the entry list implies two things - Keiji is there, so he won't be sent to spring events, or at least not to Challenge Cup, while Sota's name is absent from the list and he normally would be eager to do shows, so either he might be going to Challenge Cup, or he simply wasn't among those who the show wants first and foremost. Sorry about :hijacked: ! Kazuki is quite likely to be at WC, but if the big guns do go, then he might still get sent to CdP... Who knows)

These are good points! I also think it's possible more skaters will be added to the PIW line-up later, that looks like a preliminary line-up to me. I guess JSF is probably waiting to see what happens with Omicron and all that...

In the meantime, there will be an online fan meeting with the Onsen gang on 30 January!
Hope we get some pictures!

Kazuki's bit (Google Translate):
On the other hand, three men from Japan, Kazuki Tomono, Kao Miura and Sena Miyake, will participate. It will be a podium battle with South Korean Cha Jun Hwan and Americans.

Tomono finished third in this season's GP Series Russia Cup with a personal best of 264.19 points. Tomono, who had a good reputation for acting, has gained a sense of stability in the quadruple jump and is sending a season of awakening. In the All Japan Championship, he scored three free quads and demonstrated his power with 5th place with 263.67 points.

"Three quads were the best. However, there were still some sweet spots such as combination jumps, so I would like to pursue it. I think I can still aim for the best performance in history."

Both the short "New Cinema Paradise" and the free "La La Land" are wonderful numbers that are likely to be Tomono's representative songs, and this season's Tomono cannot be overlooked. This Four Continents Championship is your chance to win the title of the International Skating Union (ISU) -sponsored tournament.

Can't believe 4CC is already next week :drama:

Kazuki's on the way to Estonia! Wishing him a safe and smooth trip 🤞

Here's the schedule, official practice starts on Tuesday already!

This is probably the first ISU international competition in which Kazuki is widely regarded as one of the favourites, and even Fuji TV acknowledged this by putting him in the centre of their promo:

I really hope Kazuki can deal with these expectations and we can see him on the podium!

Thanks for the update!
I have Kazuki in 🥇 in my predictions. This is such a great opportunity for him that I couldn't resist!
hehe, I love how he's totally unfazed by a fall in that third photo by 'tgeomass'. OTOH, the 'kaoricky' pic expression is Sota's domain, so a certain fan is under-impressed  (<- kidding, okay?)
The competition hasn't started yet, and I find myself already wondering what magazine he'll be using for Bills this time. There's no way he won't be at the gala 💪

Haha yeah I wonder too what magazine he’ll use too for Bills. Maybe it’ll be another autographed picture he’ll hand out to fans.

Even ISU is talking about Kazuki as a top contender 🔥

Yesterday SP run-through was 4T3T 2S 3Aso
About his FS run-through, we actually have footage!

FujiTV also published an interview with Kazuki, no English subs unfortunately, but you can also see snippets of his training:

If no one bombs completely, the podium is likely to be Kazuki, Kao, Junhwan in whatever order. And a beautiful podium it would be.
