Kazuki Tomono

Think he’ll continue to skate at his usual rink just for fun when he retires one day?
I'd say yes, especially normally when skaters retire they still carry on doing shows. However, I hope this day won't come any time soon for Kazuki!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9ev6kcg3kI from Uni...looks like he gave out autographed photos of himself to fans in the front row
Yassss thank you! LOL so not only he was looking at his own picture, he also distributed it to the ladies in the front row

You mean he had more than one copy of his picture? That’s pretty nice he gave it out.

So that’s the Onsen gang. If I had to guess I’m sure Kazuki signed up to go to the onsen after Nationals with his buddies. They all worked so hard.
I thought so too initially, but it seems in the captions, Mitsuki says they couldn't go this year 😞
He doesn't say the reason, but I suspect due to covid restrictions. Hopefully they can do it a bit later in the year.

ETA: Happy New Year, everyone! Hopefully this will be a wonderful year for us and Kazuki 🥰

Oh no, they have to keep the onsen tradition alive! ♨️ I hope they can make up for it later on in the year 💪 🤞 Bless the boys for keeping us updated through social media... Turns out I was mistaken and Taichiro isn't retiring this year, I don't know why I thought that... so there'll be another opportunity next year anyway 🤞

Hey Kazuki fans Happy New Year! I thought of a fun idea to start this year in the fandom. Here is a question for you all. If you had the chance to meet Kazuki and hang out with him for a day what would you do? For me it would be fun if he taught me some of his dance moves on the ice since I would like to perform in an ice show one day. I’d also want to try a few kinds of ramen at some places he’d recommend and just have him show me around Osaka.

Saaaaaame! I would love to do a culinary tour of Osaka with Kazuki! Maybe he could show me some of the places he likes to go for second-hand clothes too (thrifting). I'm just not sure about the sauna thing since I'm a girl and he's a boy, it would be awkward 😅

Fun question! Let me see, if I won some sort of lottery and could meet Kazuki for a whole day, then apart from eating out in Osaka (and yeah, the Osaka castle, I'd definitely want to see it), I would want to see how he practices at the rink, and I would want to learn some useful words from the Kansai dialect  So far Kazuki has taught me 'hetakuso' from his interviews, which I occasionally use to describe my Japanese level. But Kansai-ben seems like a whole new level :p

If you don't mind I would like to join your culinary tour with Kazuki! 🍜🍛🍣🍱🍙🍥

I would also like to go around the streets of Osaka with him and maybe visit areas unknown to tourist but still worth a visit. Also, I seem to remember that in an old interview he said that he used to play tennis (?) with his friends, so maybe a little tennis match will be fun.
But, either way, a day spent with Kazuki doing whatever he wants would be a day full of laughter I think, it would be amazing :giggle:

Kazuki performed at Nagoya Festival and wowed the crowd.

Kazuki Tomono (23) of Central Sports, who placed 5th in the men's competition at the All-Japan Championships last December and was selected to represent Japan at the Four Continents Championships, gave a comical performance filled with the sorrow of a rookie office worker at the Nagoya rink, charming the fans in attendance.

Tomono, who graduated from Doshisha University last March, appeared on stage again this day wearing a suit with a tie and glasses. His program dedicated to his same-age friends, accompanied by the lively melody of "Bills," was comical, with him lying on the ice looking at pamphlets, running in a hurry, and holding his head to show his worries. In the middle part of the program, he showed off Tomono's typical powerful steps, and ended the performance by falling down with his suit jacket on.

This program, in which he showed his characteristic entertaining performance, was also applauded at the galas of the Grand Prix series in Italy (Torino) and France (Grenoble), where he competed this season, and at the "Medalist on Ice" after the All-Japan Championships. His "Nagoya business trip" on this day was also very popular. For the encore, he performed a part of the free skate "La La Land," and responded to the applause from the audience with a smile.

Bills would have to be my favorite gala performance from Kazuki. It’s so lively and fun and he looks very sharp in a suit and glasses. His two programs this season would have to be my favorites as well. His La La Land performance just makes you feel so upbeat and happy and gives you exciting energy that lifts you up.

Yassss 'Bills' is such an iconic EX 🤩 Here are some nice pics:

Also check out this funny video os skaters dancing the Macarena, guess who's really into it - that's right, our ramen boy 😂

When I was showing pics from the Nagoya show to my mom yesterday, her first comment upon seeing the first photo you linked was 'help, there's a snake biting into my shirt!' His tie really looks a bit snakey there, lol. Ahh, I hope Kazuki keeps Bills in the next year so I could also see it :drama: Or Freaks... I am not picky when it comes to Kazuki's galas. He never disappoints ☺️

I hope he keeps Bills too. The Japanese business man is a good look on him. It’s an upbeat program that makes you want to dance along with him.

I don't know guys... I love Bills, but also I would also want to see new exhibition programmes from him because I know they'll be awesome as well. Kazuki really is the king of the EX!

Meanwhile, he said on Twitter that at the Nagoya Festival he used a pamphlet with autographed pictures of the skaters and this was Mai's idea 🥰

On a different note, it seems he'll be featured on FSLife as well!
