Kazuki Tomono

I agree with you guys, but honestly, JSF never learns.

I don't know if you've noticed, but Kazuki is second now to *Sena* in the subs list. Outrage is a fitting description of my thoughts right now. JSF's ridiculous obsession with 'new generation' is really hitting new heights... especially considering that some of the 'new' seniors are as old as skaters who have been in seniors for a few sasons now.

Good for Kazuki to get a show! 💪

Uhm... I apologize for cutting in this Fan Fest unasked, but this isn't actually true, the substitution list that is in the Worlds Entries list is sorted by the alphabet order of the skaters' last names.

You can see the Japanese Men Worlds team is listed in order of Kagiyama (Yuma) - Miura (Kao) - Uno (Shoma), when Shoma should be the first entry after Yuzuru's withdrawal, based on their placements at Nationals that determined the Worlds spot. So the substitute list follows the same order: Miyake (Sena) - Tomono (Kazuki). But I'm sure Kazuki is still the second alternate after Kao and will be called up if needed.

You can also compare it with the Women's: the Japanese substitutes are listed in order of Matsuike (Rino) - Mihara (Mai) - Miyahara (Satoko), when the first alternate is Mai and Rino is the third alternate.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion- there's no news of Kazuki being shuffled down the alternate list

Whoops! Thank you for the explanation. I stand corrected, and I'm glad to hear Kazuki didn't get overlooked. :)

Thank you @rabidline for the explanation! Not gonna lie, when I saw the entries I thought the same as surimi, but what you wrote makes sense and calmed me down a lot ☺️

You guys realise what his participation at SOI means, right... Most likely a new EX!

As much as I love Bills, I'm really looking forward to seeing something new from him! What kind of EX would you guys like to see?

He may wish to capitalise on this high spirits type of program, before giving a glimpse of his talents as a more lyrical skater?

Again, no worries. The JSF is useless but this one is a false alarm.

To brighten up everyone's day, have these photos been shared? I wonder what Kazuki is doing- it seems to be a some type of shooting for a Japanese variety show. The account is from a resort in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. Maybe something related to travelling / visiting tourist spots to promote travel?

A lot more photos are being retweeted by Kazuki on his Twitter account too- can't wait to see what comes out of it!

Love these, thanks for sharing! It makes me want to visit the city as it resembles the Mediterranean vacation spots to me ^ ^
Kazuki's outfit on the wall, though ^ ^ I've never seen the combination of jeans and pika pika shoes before!

Pika pika shoes?

Thank you for sharing @rabidline ! :thank:

Yes, it seems he had a great time in Naruto City, he tried indigo dyeing as well:

and obviously, visited a ramen place!

I'm really curious about this project! I hope we'll be able to see at least part of this photoshoot 🥺
