Yasss I'm so happy Kazuki has finally been added to the PIW cast. He had said on his NowVoice he wanted to do PIW, and the fans were saying it on social media as well, seems like the PIW guys had to bow to the pressure

A great Kazuki interview just dropped! He mostly talks about fashion, but I really enjoyed his thoughts about the secondhand/vintage clothes scene in Japan (mostly Osaka). He's so meticulous about it... and I'm definitely writing down all the stores and labels he mentioned... hopefully when I get the chance to go to Japan again I can visit them!

Kazuki really does! His interview takes me back to those days where I was able to go to Tokyo for vacation and spent hours in Shimokitazawa... really exploring the secondhand and vintage shops for clothing/bags/shoes that speaks to me and that really satisfying feeling when I found them. Also, I had to laugh when Kazuki was listing the fashionable guys- Junhwan is of course the supermodel gracing a lot of fashion magazines in Korea right now, and Daisuke is really classy with his style, but Shoma..... Kazuki please, if anyone needs a fashion intervention from you, it's Shoma

As someone who has ethical concerns about the fashion industry, I really appreciate the fact that Kazuki is into second hand clothes/thrifting and he takes care of his stuff (e.g shoes). I can tell he genuinely loves it and it's not just blind consumerism.
I really laughed with this bit:
'I'm very good at creating a boom, and after the sauna boom, I'm taking a lot of people with me to create a second-hand clothing boom. (* Due to Tomono's popularization activities, an unprecedented sauna boom is invading in the figure skating world.)'
It's funny because when he was younger, he was a self-confessed 'copycat', but now he's a trendsetter

The show will be on 23-31 July, they will be going from Nagoya to Niigata to Osaka. It will most likely not be on Youtube when it's airing
But usually there are some brave fans who will upload recording of the broadcast. If there are news about paid online stream that can be watched from outside Japan, I will update here!

I have mixed feelings about Kazuki doing The Ice, because the dates are too close to the most important competition of the year: Gensan Summer Cup - that's the competition that awards a box of prime wagyu beef 
as a prize, and Kazuki has been winning the beef since 2016. I really don't want him to break the streak, so ganbatte Kazuki!
