Kazuki Tomono

The first part of a big interview with 25ans! He talks about his thoughts going into Worlds and his routine/preparation. This one isn't paywalled, yay!

Kazuki's 14th article on non-no has been published! Again, another fantastic article:

Finished reading 25 Ans part 1. I'm surprised Kazuki doesn't consider Hardest Button upbeat music? It felt fun & fast enough to me.
Glad to know he was loved by international audience on GP enough for him to notice! I might be reading too much into it, but for me it's interesting that he specifically used the term 'kaigai fan' - overseas fans - to refer to foreigners cheering for the Japanese skaters. There was a question in another thread regarding 'Japanese fans' vs 'fans of the Japanese [skaters]', and I think Kazuki's words could be telling in this matter.
I like Kazuki's pre-competition routine that consists of food only, then sleeping and just enjoying life sometimes on his own, sometimes with friends! He has a healthy mindset ^ ^
So, Kazuki doesn't care for sweets and juice, interesting! He's the exact opposite of Sota here. And Kazuki the ramen lover is beginning to consider ramen too heavy, and prefers soba and udon to it? Ohh... I wonder if he'll eventually make ramen the main meal of his day, and eat veggies and noodles and rice for the rest of the day. Interesting stuff.

But there are several sorts of ramen arent't there? The noodles themselves, then the broths. The broth considered more healthy for skaters and many athletes, is the pork bones broth, but the shoyu ramen are maybe lighter?

Good spot! I'm always surprised that Kazuki's always surprised he gets so much support from overseas fans. Like, c'mon mate, you should know by now your skating is loved worldwide 😆
