Kazuki Tomono

Kazuki's new march are now available to be purchased online in Japan!

One on hand, I'm so jealous, but even if international shipping was available, I wouldn't be able to afford the items, they are fairly expensive 😅 Although everything seems to be really high quality, so the prices are fair.

Also, non-no announced that a new article is coming soon! Can't wait.

Non-no's latest article has been published! https://nonno.hpplus.jp/article/115279
Kazuki is so gracious and full of praise towards Morisi o_O

To be fair, he mostly praises Morisi as a person, with a remark about effortless quads. If he praised the judging or Morisi's artistry, then I'd have to respectfully disagree with Kazuki ;)

Just less than 14 days until Skate Canada, and I don't know if I should be gnawing my fingers, or full of happy anticipation 🫢 The same goes for broadcasting. Our national TV is doing that again this year (and I'm very relieved about that, having read in the Edge how difficult Eurosport can be). Their scheduled coverage of Skate America is flawless. But the last few seasons, they covered Skate Canada way less than SA, for some reason, so I'll remain hopeful but cautious as the schedule for the week after has not been published yet. An archived stream of SC would be perfect for me 🤞 I hope all Kazuki fans get access to a good stream!

A fan posted these practice clips from Nebelhorn and I can really relate to her being in awe of him

@surimi I echo your wishes for a nice and reliable Skate Canada stream/broadcast for everyone  I hope Kazuki's preparations are going well, and he gets that pesky 4T3T competition-ready 🤞Although from his non-no article, it doesn't seem like he's stressing too much about things, which is great. I also like that he's been going out to museums, shops and saunas, it's always good to have a mental break!

This schedule is absolutely atrocious for me... I won't be able to watch the Men live 😭

ETA: Guys, Kazuki has a new sponsor!:cheer::party2::hap10:

It seems that this INOVE buildings offer a whole range of services to its residents, including curry 🍛 So they got Kazuki trying some when he visited:

Kazuki visited Chayudo Sweets in Kyoto, from what I could gather it's a famous sweet shop in Kyoto that pioneered matcha-flavoured sweets! I wonder if we'll see more about this visit on non-no... In any case, it's nice to know he's finding time in his busy schedule to go out a bit! I hope he's preparing well for Skate Canada

Yes! I'm all for athletes having a healthy appetite, and having a fun time ☺️ I'd definitely like to see photos of Kazuki's sweet shop visit. Also, belated congratulations to Kazuki on getting a new sponsor! Well deserved  BTW, I think Team Japan are leaving for Canada this Wednesday - if they're traveling together that is. Just less than a week...

Got some serious catching up to do here, but yahoo to Kazuki! That’s great news. I wonder what his favorite matcha dessert is? Maybe Nonno can tell us.

Today's a busy day for us, Kazuki fans, as Daiichi Juken launched a support campaign, giving away three autographed selfies:

Also, Kazuki's Mainichi column will be updated today (it's been a while!)

Kazuki also updated his picture on JSF's website, his jacket now has four company logos 🔥

Kazuki's Mainichi article, as usual behind a paywall, but this is about his commitment to costumes: https://mainichi.jp/articles/20231021/k00/00m/050/076000c
Mainichi also published a wonderful photo gallery: https://mainichi.jp/graphs/20231024/mpj/00m/050/095000f/20231024mpj00m050085000p

Team Japan should be travelling to Vancouver soon, hope everyone has a good flight. I don't think it's a problem to fly today, Japan is so far ahead of Vancouver timezone-wise that they will probably arrive on Tuesday or on the early hours of Wednesday and will have time to rest before official practice begins.
