Kirsten Moore-Towers and Michael Marinaro are Canadian pair skaters. Kirsten was born on 1 July 1992 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, while Marinaro was born on 7 January 7 1992 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.
They are the 2019 Four Continents Championships silver medalists, the 2020 Four Continents bronze medalists, and the 2020 and 2019 Canada National champions. They are also three-time GP bronze medalists (2015 Skate Canada, 2017 Cup of China and 2018 Skate Canada) and two-time CS silver medalists (2018 Autumn Classic and 2018 Finlandia Trophy).
With former partner Dylan Moscovitch, Moore-Towers is the 2013 Four Continents silver medalist, 2014 Olympic team event silver medalist, and 2011 Canadian national champion. Marinaro, with his former partner Margaret Purdy, is the 2013 World Junior silver medalist and 2010 Canadian national junior champion. Before skating with Dylan, Kirsten's partner was Andrew Evans, while Marinaro also formed a skating duo with Lindsi Disper.
Moore-Towers split with Moscovitch at the conclusion of the 2013-2014 season in highly commented and quite controversial circumstances. She wanted to continue her career and commit herself to two more Olympic cycles and did not considered it real in case of Moscovitch who is 8 years older than her.
Kirsten and Michael teamed up in May 2014 and they are currently coached by Bruno Marcotte, Alison Purkiss, and Brian Shales.
