Ladies' Long Program

Darn, I wish NBC would show Elene! Not that I think she'd be competitive for a podium finish even with a perfect LP, considering her last place in the SP. She has wonderful presence and style on the ice.:clap:

Oh, I never noticed it before, but Evan jumps like a girl (esp. with that silky white blouse) -- no height whatsoever, even on that quad.:biggrin::biggrin: A miracle he pulled that one out at all!

Ergh. Did Mrosov do Evan's choreography?! What's up with the flailing arms and head-grabbing. Yikes, another head-grab! Oy, another!

triple lutz-hands down
triple lutz-double clean - cleanly landed, a bit shaky
combination spin- decent, a bit slow
double axel- two footed, turned out of
flying sit spin- interesting position changes, slow
triple salchow- not enough height or rotation to land, hard fall
spiral sequence- pulls her leg up several times
triple toe attempt- doubled
double lutz-double toe I think
triple salchow-underotated and two footed
sit spin- multiple position changes again
straight line footwork- well done, good rythym

The quad was horribly cheated, I don't understand why it's not downgraded.

Different judges than during the SP? If they downgrade other skaters with less cheat, I'll get very angry. Penalizing under-rotation is great, but they should be consistent across skaters and competitions!

triple toe-double toe: clean
triple loop: clean, a little swingy landing
triple lutz: two footed at first, then stumbled out of
combination spin: camel-sit-then a really high leg up spin
triple salchow: clean but a bit wobbly
double axel: nice
flying camel: turned into a donut spin, nice
spiral sequence: biellman positions again, better then the last girls though
double axel-double toe: clean but a bit unsteady
layback into a biellman spin
triple salchow: fell and looked underrotated
spin combination: starts with camel-sit-pulling leg up really high like one early, then went into a second half that ends in a Biellmann
footwork sequence: pretty slow, but interprets music well

Elene might move up another spot I think

triple lutz-double toe: steps out of triple lutz, still does double toe
double axel-triple toe: beautiful
triple flip: underrotated, painful looking fall split forward
triple loop: clean but stiff edge on landing
sit spin-sit spin: slow
triple lutz attempt: popped to single
footwork sequence: slower then the previous girls, not very complex steps either
layback: beautiful, great position, speed, pulls into a biellman
flying camel: very nice arch position, pulls it into a donut spin, very nice
triple flip: came out early, two footed, wont get credit for triple either
spiral sequence: first spiral started as biellman then extended nicely without being held
triple salchow: hard fall
combination spin: camel, sit, beautiful biellman, ends with leg held up, very nice

Dont be surprised if Elene moves up yet another spot.
