I think Miki was so excited at the end of her program she almost missed the ending.

Yes, I agree. Occasionally I enjoy a tidbit from the commentators. More annoying is Terry Gannon who tends to rehash everything you already know about a skater but then, that's his job. I can actually turn it off from mind while watching the competition.

Terry annoys me so much whenever he opens his mouth for some reason and I don't know why. A lot of it might have to do with what you commented on about him rehashing every single little detail that most serious skating fans already know about the skater, but then again all of that may be catered to off and on skating fans, the kind that are just tuning in because they are bored on a Sunday afternoon. He rambles quite often about the skaters personal lives significantly more than the other comentators, although I do find some of it interesting....sometimes. hwell:

I like Dick for some reason. He's such a cute old guy lol. A lot of people say that his comments are often harsh but that thought has only struck me a few times over the last several years that I've been watching skating. He's just being honest and blunt, which is sometimes needed in my opinion. I'd take him over the super annoying Terry and the overly biased Peggy any day.

BTW, do you have a Russian Blue cat? That breed is something else.

Yes actually I do! He's my baby and I too am fascinated with the breed.

Terry Ganon gets on my nerves because of his incessant chatter while a skating program is in progress. He talks about something that is totally unrelated to what is happening on the ice. I just want him to shut up during a program. There are times when I want Dick to keep quiet also- let the viewers watch the skating through their own eyes.

I may be the only one that does not like Sara Meier. I find her boring. She does the jumps but there is no feeling to her skating. I find it very mechanical, even when she is smiling.

Meier was my favorite. IMO, what others maybe think of as "tentative" or "boring" is to me delicate and enchanting. She is one of few skaters recently who can put a spell on me, and I greatly enjoy and appreciate being taken to another world with someone on the ice. Different strokes and all...but I hope she continues the upwards spiral this year.
