To be honest, Mao probably won't even make the Japanese team.Mao Asada redemption :hap57:
A Russian, a Japanese and an American in any particular order![]()
. And american includes Canada I guess. To be honest, Mao probably won't even make the Japanese team.
I'm really surprised to see how many of you don't have Polina E. on your lists. Remember, the only reason she wasn't at Worlds last year was her boot problem. I still think Gracie has a rabbit left in her hat. Ashley is IMO, the US version of Maria B. so I never count her out. It's the third lady who I'm looking for. Mirai, Mariah, Polina, and Courtney. Along with several talented Juniors and it's just too early to tell.
You think it's going to be all-American?!!!
NOOOO!! I never count out Russia. Even during the years the ladies were having problems. There was always a Male skater in the mix and of course, Pairs and Dance were dominated by Russia/Soviet Union for decades. There are so many good female skaters right now and like Ashley, I think Mao, Carolina Kostner and Adelina Sotnikova still have a couple of tricks up their sleeves.
Mariah Bell? What?If you asked me to pick at this very moment....
Medvedeva: Gold
Kaetlyn Osmond: Silver
Mariah Bell: Bronze
Of course, that could all change once the Canadian and US Championships conclude.
