Good for Elena & Bebe!! I'm not familiar with Manichenko. This will be an interesting free skate. I thought Kostner would be higher though and there's still room for Rochette to move into medal contention.

Galina Maniachenko is a lovely lyrical skater with excellent jumps when she doesn't stumble or fall. I believe it's nerves. I'm hoping this competition will give her some confidence. Fingers crossed for the LP.

First I want to say that Irina would have won very easily

We don't know how Irina is skating. She says she isn't ready, so she must not be skating good. Remember last season when she had her "bad" season, yet continued to skate? Must be she is skating worse. If not, she'd probably be out there skating.

Galina's LP is interesting, but she has been an SP skater for years. Her jumps tend to leave her in the LP. I hope this time she puts in a kickA program. Go Galina, Bebe, and Elena L!!
