Pidgaina/Koval are such a strong team. So nice to see them compete so well. I love fun performances like theirs. Great job!

well i hate Moulin Rouge, i don't care what version this is. but they're great and look beautiful

They tied themselves in knots in some of those lifts. She is my little bird. Looks a bit like Ashley Wagner. Mark is right those lifts are trademark Nazarova & Nikitin.

I don't think they are entirely comfortable with this program yet, there were a few moments that I felt were too close to disaster. However, it's a difficult program too, one that will be very impressive later on in the season. They're great skaters, and will definitely want to make it onto the Jr Worlds podium this time around.

Okay, that concludes JGP nicely. I only have Russian tests for dance to catch on. Gonna pick my plums and make jam... gonna miss skating, but September looks packed.

It seems like Skate Canada doesn't want two even three bad olympic cycles in a row... so they are developing the juniors well and playing the game well... Summer and Nick still have to skate and are also contenders I would think (without having looked at their opposition)....
