Glad you're cheering them on! Hopefully they'll have a top 5 finish :)

I haven't followed their career closely until this season really so if you know of any good performances I should link above, just let me know! I'll put up a few more tonight.

Enjoy watching SA :yahoo: do you think there'll be commentary on the Eurosport player this competition, or are the timezone timings too difficult to get the normal BEsp commentators in?

Thank you tabsy for organizing this FF for Lilah and Lewis!:thank:

I became a fan after seeing them this year at Nepela live - they are great, lively performers and they improved a lot since last season. their Disco FD is one of my faves this season - audience loved it in Bratislava! And they make a cute couple on ice:)

All the best luck for them at Skate America!!!:cheer:

I think the main BEsp commentator Chris lives in Chicago so I really hope he’ll be available for all the events! He was amazing during Pyongchang.

My first Fear Gibson program I saw was their FD from last season, Westside Story: https://youtu.be/jgv_MMemWM4

It was a shame that they didn’t advance to the FD at the Euros so they could show it off.

Their FD this season is just outstanding though, I really love it. They were featured on a popular Ice Skating Instagram called On Ice Perspectives: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bmn1Uy4FPAL/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=tnsw18gm513r Part 2: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bm0lYC_lJA8/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=uq9fgee71ypk

I love it top five at SA for sure!

Ah I didn't realise Chris lived in Chicago - maybe we will get some commentary then! (Although I always thought they had to commentate from wherever Eurosport are 'creating'/streaming the show from. But then again I know nothing about how TV actually works )

Thank you for the on-ice perspective links and the FD - I have added them both up there!

I know that they commentated in person at the Euros but I don’t think they were at Pyongchang...

Lilah posted on Instagram that they’re both at the SA rink practicing. I’m so excited!

Well done on to Lilah and Lewis on a 5th place finish at SA :cheer:

A shame about the twizzles in the free, but it was a very enjoyable dance.

I'll update the OP with links and the new scores after I have watched the Ladies Free!

A very deserving 5th. Interesting to see how close they were to 4th and 3rd in the Free Dance - just one or two points!

It was their Rhythm Dance that put them behind but even there they improved so much! I absolutely cannot wait for NHK!

Well done for Disco Babes!!!:cheer:

They are so far the best 'newcomers' to the GP series and ID season in general - kind of breath of fresh air with these vibrant, energetic programs:). What is the most important for me is progress they're continuously making, improvement in scores and more polish added to their material - it really shows they are encouraged to develop and determined to push things forward!

A recent interview with Skate Talk Online - going on this, I'd say that having a really bubbly FD suits them because they're such bubbly people! Wishing them all the luck at NHK this weekend :hap10:

What a lovely interview! I kept forgetting how new they are until Lilah said Lewis had only done three pattern dances ever!

Can’t wait for NHK!

Well, that was a hell of a thing.

But for the deduction they would have won the free, and they were only a bit more than that off of a bronze medal. That...basically never happens in ice dance, at least not with a team that wasn't unnaturally low in the ordinals following a mistake (a la Gilles and Poirier at SCI this year).
