Liubov Ilyushechkina & Charlie Bilodeau

Lubov Ilyushechkina & Charlie Bilodeau are Canadian pair skaters. (Their ISU bio lists her first name as Liubov). They are the 2020 Canadian National bronze medalists. Bilodeau announced his retirement on 16th April 2020.

Lubov was born on 5 November 1991 in Moscow, Russia. Her Russian name is Любовь Ивановна Илюшечкина.

Charlie was born on 6 August 1993 in Rimouski, Quebec, Canada.

They teamed up in March 2019 and are trained by Richard Gauthier and Bruno Marcotte.

Charlie formerly competed with Julianne Seguin and Lubov with Dylan Moscovitch (representing Canada) and Nodari Maisuradze (representing Russia).

According to it, they will debut at the Quebec Summer Championships (8-11 August 2019 in Pierrefonds).

Thank you for this. I am stoked. They look fantastic together, much more in harmony of line than either was with their previous partners, IMO. They look very promising together, and I love their attitudes.

I also really like the double back lean in the spread eagle in the squat... can't remember the name of that move. It could become a signature for them.

ETA: It's a cantilever. I've never seen a pair do one together like they're practicing
