#USChamps18: On call, @ShibSibs said they have changed the straightline lift in their FD at the Grand Prix Final, in order to max out points (GOEs). Alex: "It's nothing unusual, every year each element has stages & progression." 1/2

@ShibSibs will include new straight-line lift in their free dance at Nationals. #USChamps18

Since winning bronze at Grand Prix Final, they have gotten feedback from tech specialists and "done a lot of work" on their programs, but "it's nothing out of the ordinary....We are confident & continuing in the direction we have set for ourselves."

Does it work this way? I thought it was random draw because both Chock/Bates and Hubbellhue are in the 2nd group

Basically top 5 draw for the last two groups. There are only 3 groups of skaters.

Same indeed, because Shibutanis' SD belongs to biggest crowds, loudest cheering and grandest applause, and it totally moves people in their seats, when I showed a video of SA SD to my friends they even felt the energy radiating from the screen

Maia and Alex were SUPERB today! I noticed that Alex's shirt was a darker brown - I think that was a great improvement; the lighter color made him look too pale, especially against the ice.

Wow, that was awesome!!! . And I think they were the only team with standing ovation. The costumes look better than I expected but I still prefer the originals, anyway, I was thinking that maybe they are testing these costume for nationals because they want wear two different costumes for the olympic team event and the olympic individual event. I hope.

They got everything level 4, except the rhumba pattern, H/D got pattern level 3 too. C/B level 4.

Practically the difference was TES, PCS almost the same, though I think the difference in PCS should be wider http://www.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2018/26192/results.html.
