Oh! So nice you got to see her! I watched both programs, and something seemed a little off to me. She seemed hesitant with her jumps. I found myself hoping that she is not injured. She dropped out of the show The Ice, and we never really heard why. Hopefully not due to injury. Maybe she needed the time for practicing her programs. I love her skating though and am so excited I will see her at Sk Canada.

What makes her program stand out is that every movement matches the music. Interpretation of music = 10!

So excited to witness Mako's winning silver performance! Wow! Her jumps have power but a lightness to the landings, and those soft knees are gorgeous. Choreography from Coach Fluffy and Coach Yamada that suits her perfectly. Congrats to the whole team! The crowd absolutely loved her.
