Pretty funny. I also love that video where Mao tries to do a Shoma-style cantilever. She keeps going for as long as she can and then falls over. I've seen it many times and still laugh!

I don't know if this is like the the photo posted above of Mao's new look for her SP program or not. She looks fiery, really beautiful and youthful in the photo.

Oh my gosh, I love the fire in the background! I have always loved this music, and I am already conjuring up a vision in my head of how she will look out on the ice! This is going to be an exciting season. Go Mao!

I remembered seeing the photo before. So, thanks for sharing. It is still interesting to imagine what it will be like. I know someone photo shopped a costume they wanted Mao to wear for her Puttin on the Ritz and at Worlds Mao ended up wearing a costume that was a lot more similar to the the photoshopped version. Maybe it was just coincidence, but a lot of people were probably wishing for the same type of costume.

This month I actually have listened so many times to Falla's Ritual Dance trying to imagine Mao skating..
I am also rewatching Mao's old programs in this off season: a question I would like to ask to you long-time Mao's fans is how do you feel about the fact that Mao's FS (Bells of Moscow
) was scored lower than Kim's at 2010 WC...
I hope that Mao will fulfill all of her ambitions in the seasons to come

I really, really, really want Mao to go all out this season. Forget the (omgMaojusthadaphantomunderrotationdeduct20points) judging, and perform to her hearts content. And if she does, we fans will have an amazing season watching and enjoying her performances despite any unfair judging.

I tried it again and it worked. Hooray! Looks like they might be talking about Mao's Sochi FS. If so, I cried ten times harder than Nobu after that program.

It looks like Mao's new EX is awesome. From tweets it looks like she did 3F, 3Lo, 2A clean and they are saying it had lots of ballet elements... like black swan Mao or something. I am so excited! Mao's EX usually has elements from her pros so I am really looking forward to her SP and FS. I'm a bit down because there's no TheICE in Sapporo this year and I so badly wanna watch live. Too bad she's no longer doing JO also! And I already got a ticket. Waah! I think they might air some clips tomorrow. I'll see if I can catch it.
Edit: Looks like they will air clips only in the Kanto area... not available here. Argh!
