Agreed. It's very important I hope it could have as good effect on her.
 
Been watching the Japan Juniors and despite Marin's recent disappointments, I still think that she is Japan's no. 1 biggest chance in the future. Things will come together for her and when it does, she'll be hard to stop.
 
Marin Honda has withdrawn from #GPF16 due to illness (influenza). JPN team leader & team doctor confirmed. Wishing her speedy recovery.
 
I was hoping to see her here. She has star quality coming out of every pore, so it's a bit sad she could not show herself off to a bigger audience. But I am just getting better from the flu and have a hard time climbing the stairs, not to mention getting on the ice and skating in competition. Bad luck for her, but hope she gets well soon.

it was reported she had a temp of 102 deg F.

Feel better Marin! 102 is really high! Hope she stays in bed for the rest of the event!

Kaori also caught the same influenza, but just with more mild symptoms right? Reminds me of 2016 4CCs where nearly the ENTIRE Chinese team caught the flu... what a mess. Stay warm and healthy!

According to the reports, her performance was light, full of happiness, so much attraction to draw your eyes. further, as so many people say, she has the star aura, which is one of her biggest strength.
Hamada jumped with joy at the rink side. She says Marin is definitely the most talented student of hers at the recent interview.
Hope Marin get a wonderful FS tomorrow.

She is the one with the most natural talent, yes, she said that recently.
I was worried for her because she had the flu a few weeks ago, but she came back strong.
She DID look healthy and happy in the preview of the Nationals, but anything could have happened. I'm happy she delivered that well. :love:
Crossing fingers for her FS!!!
 
I hope she'll have a strong FS! She is a very lovely skater with tons of potencial and she might be the next big star in Japan after Mao. Keep it going, we want to see you in Junior Worlds! :hap10: :luv17:
