Marin Honda

I have to say that this skater caught my eye this season. She is easily my favourite youngster. If she can be as consistent as Satoko.... just watch out. Good luck in the free... I love that program!

Marin contracted with Prince together with Wakaba.
It’s unusual as an Junior skater.. Marin got the big contract with JAL the other day.
Apparently, she is regarded as a next star after Mao, who is nationwide beloved athlete. No wonder to see her loveliness, star aura, the skill for media response… Hope she can beat the pressure.

Marin has always been stronger in the Free so far this year! I hope she'll pull it off and get herself on that podium! :luv17:
Actually, tbh, I love the Japanese ladies field so much, I'd be happy with any podium consisting the top 4 right now :rofl:
 
I think she is still recovering from the flu? her spin seem kinda shaky and travelled a lot, but great job on the jumps:thumbsup:.
so glad she finally has a clean sp!

It's excellent compared to last year, she can be proud, even if that popped flip probably made her miss the podium. She learned a lot at those championships, and I trust her to prepare and be strong for Junior World.

Marin did great this year! What a shame about that 1F, with that she could have been 2nd. But two great performances that I will remember in the future! #teamMarin :love:

It's good she finished 4th!

She is one of my favourites but the pressure of the World Junior Title has affected her
So I am happy the pressure is coming off and the joy of skating is coming back 👍🏻👍🏻

So glad to see her end her performance this year with smile! Further, she drastically changed her layout at that time after the pop. Her ability to calculate is so nice.
Enjoy Medalist on Ice from bottom of your heart. She loves shows more than competitions!
Kudos her team members, who are keeping their supports to her!

I agree with you! This is a very good sign showing that she overcame all the pressure she has faced this season.
Go, Marin! I'm rooting for you! :cheer::rock:
 
And she is also overcoming any growing pains she has. She is visibly growing and maturing, yet does not show any signs of awkwardness or jump issues, so far. It was great seeing her do so well.
 
I really like her SP this season that fits her style and character. Hopefully she keeps it for the Next season.
